In regards to the Trophies, they did add an overall account "level" based on your total trophies. It's not as satisfying as achievement score for sure, but it is still in the same general idea. That said, to me while the score was always better in the "overall" sense, I prefer trophies in the immediate pop up sense, since things like getting the platinum trophy pop up is way more satisfying than any score based pop ups I ever had on xbox.
Yeah I definitely have the opposite feelings to joe/alpha, but being older and growing up with the xbox achievement score... the number gets inflated by worthless achievements, which makes the number FEEL worse. Sony's system separates out the garbage achievements so I can just ignore the bronze/silver trophies. Ironically steam does this well for their money system with badges as well, because the badges require ALL the cards, so it is a completion counter rather than an arbitrary counter. Unfortunately steam doesn't have a system to actually look at normal achievements in any meaningful way.
I feel like if the Whale Suika vs had a narrower box it'd be ideal. The preview video on the steam page showed off a pretty impressive tetris strat of fast tower then try to combo from there to generate junk faster, and I feel if someone takes the time to lab it out a bit you'd have an awesome game. That said, no idea how the physics controlled so maybe it ain't as viable.

Hold in marathon is kinda busted because it basically means a free match whenever you get the held piece again, so like you could play around getting double cherry so you never have to deal with single cherry blocking others, or you could go double orange and get a free lemon that you can effectively drop where you want. In battle mode though that's great because it lets you set up combos faster which will end the games faster and with online, you don't really want 20+ minute games 1v1.
Day 27 of requesting that Jacob and Jo take a shot for every S tier game during the end of year tier list. Two shots of course for when they give Naughty Bear for Xbox 360 and ps3 the SS tier it deserves.

The problem with this game is that falling behind is way too punishing. There is no way you can catch back up with that little amount of space.
