    I love the original toilet bowl fizzies! They work great snd I have a lower flow toliet. Our old toliet had a lot of water in the bowl. This new toliet we have has half the amount of water in it and the old fizzies work fine. Our new toliet is a No-Touch toliet. You wave your hand at a sensor on the side and it flushes. Super cool! We bought it because it was the only toilet we could find that had sides at the bottom that were flat. I absolutely HATE a toilet with those curves at the bottom. They trap dust and other yuck! I didn't want to spend 15 minutes on my hands and knees cleaning that in my older age. So when we remodeled it was the one request I had, and hubby made it happen!!!
    Anyway, that is my toliet fizzie story!

    No it wasn't weird watching you and your toliet, lol!

      A touch free toilet sounds super cool! That might be gimmicky enough to get the kids to flush. 😂

      @@MrsSoapAndClay my grandkids go in the bathroom and wave at it all the time, lol! They're trying to get their Mom to buy one. We've had it about six years now. You have to change the triple A batteries in it once or twice a year, but no big deal, it's easy. We love ours. Except you tend to forget how to flush, lol! It does have a button on the side should the battery die and you need to flush. We got ours at Lowe's. I know your remodeling so thought it'd be interesting subject. I think they're worth the price. Especially sense they are also easy to clean!

    I just hollered loudly at dropping brown things in the toilet! 😂😂

  • @Twistedtree7
    @Twistedtree7 2 года назад

    I had the same issue with the old recipe. Mine foamed like crazy,what it seemed to do was somehow open up the drain of the bowl. Less and less water in the bowl every minute so the foam although it was great never reached more than 1/3 of the way up. By the end I was left with less than about 3/4 to 1 cup of water in the toilet. I even tried dump a few cups of extra water in before the bomb. Same problem. The part of the toilet that experienced the foaming action was nice and clean however!

    Thought to try? I’m not a soap maker.
    What if you added activated charcoal? May “stick” to a stain so you know to scrub more after a flush? Also makes color not so… deuce..y? 😆 also.. I’m in canada.. on the legal green.. 😉

    Loved the product demo. Can’t wait to see the next one as the product gets perfected. How fun it is to experiment. Thank you for sharing, the color was not an issue. Do you think that the moisture issue with the bombs had anything to do with the amount of foam produced?

    • @MrsSoapAndClay
      @MrsSoapAndClay  2 года назад +1

      Hey! I don’t think the moisture had much of an issue; I did a second batch that didn’t take on more water from the air and they foamed about the same. Good thinking, though!

    It's just a toilet, don't be freaked out by it. So when my science-y daughter was in middle school she did a project where she had to make something from every day products that was unconventional, yet turned out to be helpful. Like if you were out of something you normally had in the house and needed to get the something that needed doing done, what would you use in its place? She cleaned the toilet bowl with coke and mentos, and vinegar and baking soda. Which worked best? Coke and mentos. Though neither was really great at first try because of the water in the bowl. She did re-do it after turning off the water to the commode. AND the only good thing that came from that science experiment is I no longer drink any carbonated beverages. None.

    This doesn’t have anything to do with the toilet bombs but, I’ve only been in the soap community on social media for like a month and I just cannot with the things people are trying to claim about their soap. I saw one today claiming it relieved period cramps. Come the hell on, people.

Like with everything else, you’ve got to pick and choose what you want to put you fingers on. You are smart, don’t let the little things sour your day and hold on to your positivity. Blessings
