My diesel had a random stall then hard (if not impossible) restart. Various efforts have narrowed it down. Engine idles normally and drives very gently. Any normal acceleration creates a momentary stall engine light & limp mode. Graphing fuel pressure shows a very short pressure down- spike. I’m tending to think it’s the pressure sensor. Pressure control valve can be tested for leak back to the tank. However the correct leak rate is hard to find.
If a diesel car easy to start but it stall after engine started after a few second. It will take a few minutes to to run the engine regularly. What cause this problem
