Yeh Mira engineers I think are £80-£120 just to come out, crazy money. Hope it fixes it. On our old one the filter got a bit clogged so that can always be replaced.

Hi man, just wanted to say thanks so much, my shower broke this morning and I found your video. After copying everything exactly as you did three times it was still erroring. I removed the shower head and tried a fourth time and IT WORKED! Thank you so much !! 💙🤍💙
Hi, video was great in helping me to reset our shower. Worked for a short time but in end had to get maintenance man to come sort it out. He kept on blaming the fact that we'd changed to a non Mira shower head, have you any knowledge if this is true or not.
Possibly, I guess the Mira shower heads are designed to equalise the water pressure in the system so he could be right, else he’s just doing a sales pitch for Mira! We always have Mira, it gets used a lot. They are good showers.
we have one of these but the front panel is different from the one shown, it has three buttons on the bottom of the front panel High Medium and low. Ive been told its over 20 years old, I want to replace it but I have no idea how many K/w it is, have you any ideas please? the MCB in the fuse box is a 40amp fuse so im thinking maybe its about 8.5 kw, the sticker underneath the unit has long since worn away . The mains fusebox was changed about 10 years ago from RCDs to Mcbs.
Hi mate, just tried you're video and did every step but water still doesn't seem to come out. When you push the button inside the shoeer the water spits out the head as showed, however once turned back on you can hear the shower run but still a water supply issue light. Any ideas please?
Could you recommend a cheap triton shower that i could replace my old mira advance atl shower with? Im desperate to replace asap but apparently i need one where the water pipe is in the same place?
Any shower of a different make will have different access points for wiring and plumbing. If you can afford it go for an identical Mira as it will be so much easier to fit!
Hi having intermittent problems with the same shower. Opened it up and open pressing the priming button water just leaks out of the button but doesn't come through the shower head?
@@LurgsHowToGuides tried that no issues there. Ive checked the filter...clean as a whistle. My final conclusion so far is that the water pressure is actually too high. Just turned the shower on with the tap running, to reduced the pressure, and it ran fine. Within 5 seconds of turning the tap off it shutdown with another fault. Might be a coincidence so more testing to do.
@@LurgsHowToGuidesCheers. Further testing by closing and opening the stopcock has confirmed my theory of too much water pressure causing the shower to cut out, it's the opposite problem to what I initially thought it was.
Yes that’s normal for it to leak when you push the button. How old is the shower? They Don’t last forever. Ours was about 8yrs old and I ended up buying a new one

Good news. We’ve had a few Mira showers which get heavy use. They seem to last 8-10yrs for us

Not sure I’m afraid. Most showers are 8kw-10kw. If not sure consult an electrician before installing a new one. Good luck

That’s mains pressure cold water so there’s can’t be water in that pipe
I never you can pour prime into your bath!

Take the shower head off to make sure it’s not that. Water will come out of the priming button but should flow fast out the hose
