Thanks for your x3 videos...as a new owner of an Alpine White/Tacora Red Sensatec x3 M40i, I enjoy learning of your x3 experiences. You mention your x3 is a leased vehicle and you're anticipating getting new tires, MPSS. I hope you realize BMW will expect at lease turn-in, your x3 will have RF tires as they were originally on the vehicle when new. I had a similar situation with a previous BMW...removed the o.e. runflats before they were "done" and saved those for remounting at lease turn-in...enjoying non-RF tires for the majority of the lease term. As I expect you know, RF tires are significantly more expensive that non-RF tires.

@@RAMONEAuto Curious as to what tires you purchased...did you get the Micheline Pilot Sport 4S? If so, how is the ride quality compared to the o.e. RF Michelins?
@@miata1370 I finally settled on continental DWS06 Plus Non RF they last 10k miles more than the MPS4S and they are $500 less so it kinda made more sense
@@RAMONEAuto That tire as well as the Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 would be my choices too. I have that Michelin on our MINI Roadster S for it's near summer tire capabilities but acceptable all season use.
I got my X3 back too! It almost took a month to get the bumper in. I had to get a new headlight as well.

Glad you got the X3 back, got a 2022 LCI X4 back in June in Sophistogray with the Cognac Interior, you definitely made me go for that interior color. Great vehicle, driving dynamics are unmatched! Curious to know how the 30i performs since we either get the M40i, 20i or the 20d (the one i got which is a surprisingly quick and refined diesel) in my country. Greetings from Paraguay 🇵🇾
Interesting color! Is that individual? Never seen it on any X4 here. The 30i is pretty good it’s a really punchy engine with low down torque
@@RAMONEAuto I believe it’s called Dark Graphite Metallic in US Spec BMWs. We get the Euro Spec cars down here so that’s why naming could be different.
Hey man, enjoy all your videos. I got a 22 x3 M40i myself. Just had a question for you about the liftgate I recently noticed a whining/whirring kind of noise when closing the hatch as it’s coming down never noticed it before, does your do this?
Yes mine does the same it’s the electric motor and once it closes fully you’ll hear a few clicks it’s just the electronics doing it’s soft close thing
Makes sense, I’ve had the car since June and I just never noticed or paid attention enough until this past weekend loading and unloading Xmas supplies that I heard it and was a bit concerned
Glad you have your baby back bro! I am leasing my x3 when it comes in next month. What are your leasing terms? I have the 36 months 15k miles a year. I also have the full maintenance and the wear an tear for tires.
Mine’s actually 10k miles 36 months

I have 2022 x3 , i have a question
On the driver side exhaust there is a valve in the pipe
Mine is open all the time when in park or idling , i dont know if it close when driving . Could you please check your if your valve is open all the time . I just need to know if it’s normal like that
