The Forces of Justice are annoyingly punctual, so supplement your brute force by researching and developing a series of trap networks! Send those do-gooders spinning with a Pinball Bumper, or put the chomp on them with the Venus Spy-Trap. While one trap is good, more is…evil-er. Combo your traps to banish intruders for good!

THANK YOU! Seriously, most people forget one of the best parts of building an evil lair, is giving it that good ol' flair, shoot, they even give item stat boosts to decor! So nice to see someone play this game so pleasing to the eye, and of course, the ear.
Really loving your bases layout now! Everything seems well planned out and managed for an easier flow throughout! I didn't mind that their was no missions as much in this ep lol Just seeing a great base set up is already entertainment.

I know that in your livestreams you've expressed that you wished there was an easier visual cue to tell if a region is currently running a scheme, and though it may not be super obvious and they should definitely update it, the pulsing of the radio towers on the world stage screen is an indicator! It pulses faster/ more intensely if there is no scheme! Loving this game so far :)

Great casino! I was laughing at how deadly your Deception game is :D Always better to send them back with a tan and a confused look than having them not come back at all: missing agents raise red flags, I should think.

Don't forget by default mess hall counters are set to all minion types even the minion type specific ones. You need to set them to only service the specific minion type.
This game badly needs more tooltips.
You can click on the food counter and set it to be muscle or deception only.
You're the only one on RUclips who figured out how to play the game the way the devs intended it to be played

I got tired of using the casino. Just make a long line of man eating traps and nothing gets through.

I used the slot machines as a maze. They give up about half way thru the casino.
Thanks has given me some more ideas on my casino on the donut base where i have my casino going from 5 o'clock, clockwise through to about 2 o'clock basically taking up the bulk of the ground floor, and only one massive armoury where the only staircase is that links the rest of the floors, and helicopter pad.

Thing about casino irl they are mazes meant to fuck with your head. So the more complicated and hard to navigate, the more realistic!
dealing with food, first aid and beds, I've started scattering little alcove type rooms in various places that I'll put in 3 or 4 beds, a food table, 1 first aid station and sometimes an incinerator. Keeps the minions from walking so far to deal with the stuff and oddly enough, it keeps morale up too. I still have the main barracks, lunch room, etc for the masses.

Hey just a tip: the body burners are better used if you put them around your base, it makes from quicker disposal, at the very least always have one in your prison and always have one by where agents enter
FYI, later on, higher level agents will enter using the Helipad bridge.
Of course, you can intercept those and have them escorted to the casino, but the problem is, when they get tired and wanna leave, guess where they need to go to leave? The helipad bridge, of course! So they will constently try to go through the base for leaving ^^
As far, best solution I found was to make a corridor between the two "entries" with lots of traps. That way wherever they come from, they will likely go through it get demotivated ^^
Multi purpose rooms are so underrated. And also connecting various rooms is also undervalued

put is a dead end corridor-O-Death with a shinny security door. the investigators will go right for it and have to walk both up and then back down it triggering traps all the way :) your people will only need to go there to clean up the bodies !

I started this game on console and was trying to find a great casino layout.
Found this and was excited to see some ideas. However the design DOES NOT force agents to lose their resolve on their own.
You can see at 4:13 you forcefully placed distract on each agents. Now by doing this is doesn’t matter where they go. You can have a single corridor straight to the entrance to your lair door and they will still lose resolve.
Now if you made a CASINO where you don’t have to force them to be distracted than please let me know. Other than that I like that layout of your casino. Just disappointed that I still have to force the distraction
Lockers in the corridors always made me think of this american highschool movies, and that is just not the genre my evil lair aims for. It is however a good option to cut dead space... Just remember extinguishers are important.
Yeah, like I said, always have ACTUAL corridors where it's important, like for exstinguishers and cameras :)

That trick with lvl 3 locks is not a rule. most of the time agent will take the shortest route to your sanctum. with investigators is like 50/50 but soldiers will always take the shortest route to the your evil genius. What bothers me is that there is no 100% guranteed ways to deliver your minions in rooms via "one way" tunnels. Agents always finds those unguarded passages. I did noticed however that all agents will prefer to walk through wide corridors (4 square wide) rather than narrow (2 square wide) ones. So use those narrow corridors to lower the chances to get your minion caught in crossfire or traps set of by agents.
You can place a 4x1 corridor with door instead of the room you've planned. Corridors are a bit cheaper (good for the first hours, not when the money is not a problem anymore 😂).
Also, when I expand rooms, like your barracks, I would probably build and place new items before moving existing ones.

I never knew that you can add more rooms to the casino.
So in terms of using barracks as corridors but not being able to fit things like guard posts or cameras? Why not use the multi room approach where you designate small 2x4 plots as corridor and the rest as barracks?
One of your food counters is backwards... but otherwise, looking good. I wonder if you can see investigators placing listening devices...

Certainly a lot nicer than my casino, but I wonder if it doesn't have trouble getting minions out to fight on the floor when necessary. More than once, I've had soldiers or those dang crime bosses show up and just start everybody, so I want the guard post close and the approaches clean. I still have a maze, but it's made of corridors that lead nowhere off to the sides and filled with doors on level 3.
'Door Corridors' are a classic technique... but I'm trying to be a bit more 'real' ...the lure is strong though lol
Do a video about traps and an “arena” layout.
I had the same problem with valets guiding agents deeper into the base.
i'm counting that as a bug.
It's just the pathing of multiple exits. Hopefully they can make it so they 'steer' them to the front door instead
When do you get the specialized mess hall counters? Is it a research thing?
The video before this shows that when you get the "level two" minions of a particular "career" you also get their specific mess hall counters. Science minions get a Sushi Train!

I always get the worst world stage luck. I got a scheme for $305000 that gens 80 heat over an hour in a region where heat is nearing max cap tonight.
I seem to get similar! Very tough to watch that big money slip away! lol
@@Geekism It gets worse with the Trojan Horse generating 90 heat. Here's something I just learned you might enjoy though, when you go after Jubei, capture the guys he sends after you. You can brainwash them and they become martial artists.
My first playthru has been with Ivan on the Pillars island, and when some soldiers came in the front door, they went into my Valet Cafe and wiped out my social minions! Hopefully you won't have that problem?
Yeah, this is GUARANTEED to be a problem, no matter what. The easiest solution for this is to basically do as little casino as possible. The soldiers generally will not shoot up the casino, but having the "deception minion rest area" will cause that problem. I end up having to rely on my henchmen to save my valets

Questioning if agents ever did reach some parts of the lair where there are listening devices? We don't see everything in the edited vids vs the livestream, but still, agents upstairs doesn't feel like it's happened yet. Maybe you have a mole? 🤯😆

Is it possible to just run a legitimate casino to fund the entire operation without criminal schemes (after doing just enough to unlock the cover operation)? I dunno, it would just seem funny.
