    It takes a special kind of badass to trill with 3-4 at 2:03

    For the next time, can you do Saint-Saens Cello Concerto? That is what I’m working on right now.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH PABLO! This was exactly what I was looking for. I was literally just practising Dvorak, and listening to your recording when I saw this video. Eagerly waiting on the rest of the Dvorak!

    If I play like this I think my teacher will say my body is too tense...I never play like this by the way...maybe I should start XD

    Regardless of his mature and constantly increasing technical virtuosity, his Dvorak of 13 years ago has a freshness and innocence that is still incomparable !

    • @deltasquared7777
      @deltasquared7777 3 года назад +1

      Perhaps he is at an age and stage of his career where he tends to over-analyze and concentrate attention on technique rather than simply letting the music flow and playing from the heart--an innate quality that he has in abundance, but that will come into full expression again only with age, when he can surpass considerations of technique.

    Thanks for the tips and inspiration. You make a beautiful sound. Observing how quickly you evaluate and improve upon your sound with little tweaks is great. You work quickly, but with intention. I picked up my cello after watching this video and immediately sounded better. It’s really helpful to just take a break and get some perspective. Cheers Pablo!

    Will we ever get a Schelomo open practice? I finished working on it for now, but it's one of my all time favorites and I love your interpretation so I'm curious to see what goes through your head

    Que tal ! Muchas gracias como siempre por tu noble compartir ! Quisiera preguntarte, en otros vídeos has mencionado que solo haces escalas y repertorio, en que momento recomiendas a un estudiante seguir esta rutina que usas tu ??, y porque en tu caso decidiste ya no hacer mas la tecnica tradicional como dobles cuerdas arpegios, etc ?.. Yo hago yampolski .. Tu que metodos usastes a lo largo de tu carrera ? Te admiro mucho gracias por tu musica y amor al chelo !

    Ish! If i played or practiced like that, i would be exhausted. That is a lot of tension you are displaying. You maybe young now and can play like that but you will dearly pay for it in just a few years.
