Hello. I have vatta skin in Winter and pitta skin during summer but i usually don't get oily except in the t zone. But my skin becomes too hot and flushed during summer. Could u suggest me some oils for self massage.
@@vismayamarikkal9999 Coconut oil is very cooling for the summer. Sunflower oil is neutral, so it's good for those with mixed constitutions like you and I.

Thank you so much for this video. I'm Vata-Pitta and I've been going bananas for years! Your videos is so incredibyly helpful for helping me commit to more consistent routines and other methods of keeping myself balanced and grounded. I feel like you are describing me! Thank you so much! Some days I need to heat and others to cool and it is annoying !!! Thank you so much for the Video. Today I was out on a full day picnic. I live in the tropical region . I was able to make minor changes based on your video like staying in the shade, keeping myself hydrated and eating non spicy food by which I had energy all through the day. Earlier I used to not mind the sun and forget about hydration and end up really tired after a whole day's outdoor activity. I will be coming back to your videos and references to study them. Thanks once again for the simple and impactful video.

wow. I am certainly dual and it affects me similar but also differently. I crave sour at times and then sweet. almost equally. certain time of years such as winter I will find i get overheated some days and have to go out and walk a release some of the heat! other days i have to bundle up until my bones feel warm enough. I appreciate this as I can see I’m not alone in managing the balance.

I just found your video and I’m so glad I did! I just found out about Ayurveda and that I’m Vata-Pitta. It makes so much more sense to me why I am the way I am now and your video really helped me understand how to balance the two and when to focus more on one than the other! I just learned I'm Vata Pitta too. For the past 7 years I've been struggling with chronic hives. I break out when I sweat or during stress. I learned through a Chinese doctor that my body's constitution in Chinese medicine is cold and damp which is more similar to Pitta right? Now learning about Vata is interesting finding that balance because some of the things you mentioned are good to eat, my Chinese doc said to avoid but in the end I really need to listen to my body and find my own balance. Summer is especially hard as I live in a very hot and humid climate so now it looks like I need to balance my cold with heat but not too much spice, cool myself down with some raw food but not too much and be gentle with acidity. I've been consuming a lot of juice with fresh lemon and recently got a sore in my mouth and when you mentioned that about lemon I realized why! Silly me. Of course it's from all the lemon! Thanks so much for sharing this. You're awesome :)

Then you are Pitta Vata if it is more challenging in the Summer, cause I am Vata Pitta type and I dont like Winter very much, ...the hot weather like for everyone is not the best but I rather be hot than cold. Cold feet, hands, stiff legs...
I read that all inflammation in the body comes from Pitta inbalance ,like any -itis is from aggravated Pitta ,I know that for gastritis for example in my case,so I think when a person is in the state of inflammation, they need to take care of Pitta more
It's a bit more complicated than that though. Most illnesses in the body are caused by Vata imbalances (especially in today's world which is highly vata upsetting), and a vata imbalance can often send other doshas out of balance. So if you focus on pitta alone, but the real root cause is a vata imbalance, you can make things even worse by cooling and drying yourself out too much. Essentially switching off the furnice inside you even more. It's a tough balancing game. I personally pay more attention to Vata, also because my lifestyle is very Vata and my body is predominantly built like a Vata.

Hi did you quit consuming dairy during your healing journey and at present ? And could you tell me why biounavailable copper accumulates ? What reverses it ?
I did try to go off dairy at the very beginning for around a month, but I felt much worse. Dairy has always been a staple food for my heritage, so I find it extremely healing and soothing for me. I only make sure I get the best quality possible, mostly goat. Biounavailable copper accumulates due to lots of supplements that people take and which interfere with copper absorption, such as zinc, vitamin C, citrates, vitamin D, etc. Also eating excess meat could potentially do that due to excess zinc from those kind of diets. Biounavailable copper is more or less the same as copper deficiency. Getting rid of all those supplements and taking some copper supplements for a while fixed my copper problems.
Do you take shatavari during full month ?? Is maca like shatavari ?? Maca works on HPA axis But shatavari is very estrogenic .. Estrogen is cooling .. I have a question If estrogen is cooling then increasing heat of the body at that time will make the body create more estrogen , it will think that it's not able to create heat needed ..is it the case or is it opposite

But my periods are not heavy or anything- very regular but painful the first day 😕 You look wonderful 😘 i mean how many times have i said this 😊 no wonder i have a girl crush on you cos hey we are the same ayurvedic constitution 😁
I've actually ordered the Organic India one this time, it will be interesting to compare. But the Savesta one is truly amazing. Other cooling herbs could help (for example, neem, brahmi, gotu kola) and following a Pitta diet during that time as well. Thank you so much for always being so kind to me!
I'm a Kapha-Vata type with some Pitta balances. Sounds complicated, but my personality is mostly Kapha type with slight Pitta and Vata aspects. But the disorders I have are Vata and Pitta type. Why does the human body have to be so complicated? 😭😭
I think it's quite a flexible combination, you just need to watch your lifestyle and diet during extreme cold or heat to adjust. I think super hot climates probably wouldn't be too good, but other than that, everything else should be workable.
I found milk to be constipating is it drying me out with its astrigent taste? it does pacify pitta, but then im constipated. I have rashes on my face if i eat things like oats that help me have bowel movements
Perhaps you have lactose intolerance? It can cause both loose stools and constipation. Or maybe it's because you drink cold milk and that aggravates Vata? Have you tried drinking it warm?
if Pitta doesnt llike sour,I wonder are citrus fruits even good for us....I like oranges and mandarines and kiwis and lemons ,but I am not sure they are good for Pitta at all?
Citrus fruits that are sour aren't good for Pitta. So things like sour oranges, sour mandarines, sour kiwis, etc. aren't good. But their sweet versions might be OK. Just listen to your body. Mine doesn't like any citrus fruit at all. They all cause acidity issues. Apart from some lemon juice in foods. ❤️
So can I have ashwagandha in winter and fall, now it's very cold in my country and my vata is struggling ?My cortisol is high:(and I know ashwagandha is very recommended to vata and one more question ,how about chocolate ?What's your opinion of it for Pitta does it aggravate it?But I love my lemon water ,I love sour yum
Ashwagandha should be good for the colder months. Ayurveda generally isn't very in favour of chocolate. I know it's not good for Vata (because it's bitter) and not good for Pitta either (because it's too heating and stimulating). I really can't eat it at all. Not only it affects my sleep but it causes acid reflux, too.
It depends on what kind of ice-cream. Great quality ice-cream with unprocessed sugar is great, commercial scrap isn't. White sugar is aggravating for all doshas, including pitta.
My husband is vata and pitta. I am too, sort of. I have a lot of kapha. One ayurvedic practicioner told me that I am nearly tridoshic because I have so much kapha but because it is a little less I am technically vata-pitta. Another practicioner said that I am tridoshic. This sounds funny to me but I love it because it perfectly describes me and the difficulty that I feel in balancing, right!?
Thank you so much for the video. I am male @ 25. I am also having the same constitution and suffering from interstitial cystitis...can I take Sathavari for best results?..
Honey is not exactly hot or pitta aggravating... But it depends on which flower and which season the honey is sourced from ....one more thing honey when used with hot potency food will aggravate pitta and when used with cold potency foods pacify pitta...heating honey will shourly aggravate pitta as it will not get digested and creat aama, continuous use of heated honey will block your channels leading to obvious ....disease
Hi, im vata dosha, and its recomended hot sesame massage for this type, and also intake of sesame oil. I have estrogen dominance,so im wondering is it safe to use it everyday? Tnx!
I personally wouldn't worry (science these days seems to also be pointing in the direction of phytoestrogens not increasing estrogen levels in menstruating women), but please do your own research.

I know it's not good for Vata (because it's bitter) and not good for Pitta either (because it's too heating and stimulating). I really can't eat it at all. Not only it affects my sleep but it causes acid reflux, too.
Thank you great video. As a Vata Pitta can I have milk Kefir which sour. I drink it to improve my gut bacteria.
I'd be careful with it, expecially in the warmer months. Or try to dilute it.
@@Vitalivesfree Thank you very much for your reply. Why do you say to be careful?
@@MsMyra22 Because kefir is sour and fermented. It can increase Pitta.
@@Vitalivesfree Thank you so very much for responding to my question. Much appreciated.
Can I eat bitter food like bittergourd, whenever I eat bitter, I feel good internally
Bitter is good for Pittas. If you feel that it makes you feel good, go for it. Listen to your body. ❤️
So during luteal phase , what do you do ??
You said you pay attention to pitta during luteal phase, do you increase it or reduce it ??
During luteal phase, pitta increases, so I focus on reducing it if it's over the top, especially during the hot months.
Ice cream wont pacify pitta, it will infact aggravate it.. So its better avoided during summer. ❤🎉
It depends on what kind of ice-cream. Great quality ice-cream with unprocessed sugar is great, commercial scrap isn't. White sugar is aggravating for all doshas, including pitta.
how to do you know you are dual? m vata but recently having a lot of burning in my body
Just take any of the questionnaires in the best Ayurveda books or online.
Abhyanga for vata pitta
Yes, I've heard it's helpful.
Hi am 34. am vata ,pitta too. How to manage hair.. I have lots of hair problem.
By hair problems, do you mean hair loss? If yes, here's a video about it: ruclips.net/video/VL2ouoqkkOQ/видео.html. xx
I am vata/kapha...is vitex better for this dosha? Or shatavari?
Shatavari might be too heavy for Kapha, so I'd say Vitex.
I'm also vatta and pitta LOL
It's the most common constitution in today's hectic world, so not surprising at all! 💖
Shatavari can be taken by men, but please do your own research first.
@@Vitalivesfree Thank you so much for your response💕💞
Honey is not exactly hot or pitta aggravating... But it depends on which flower and which season the honey is sourced from ....one more thing honey when used with hot potency food will aggravate pitta and when used with cold potency foods pacify pitta...heating honey will shourly aggravate pitta as it will not get digested and creat aama, continuous use of heated honey will block your channels leading to obvious ....disease
So why i love so much sour even when its bad:(
Perhaps you are a Vata after all? ;-)
Vata / Pitta here ! 💚💙 Hot 🔥 ARIZONA....yikes !
Oh no, that's both too hot for the Pitta and too dry for Vatta. Definitely need to balance as much as possible with food.
can men take shatavari too?
Yes! Here's a video I made about all the benefits for both men and women: ruclips.net/video/1CClE4mi7so/видео.html.
@@Vitalivesfree Thank you
too much adverts, I stopped watching it
It's not up to video makers how many ads are placed in videos. RUclips decides that, so I'm very sorry to hear that they placed so many in this video.
I am vata-pitta,can I reduce it by increasing kapha?
I don't think that's how it works. You might end up with too much kapha as well. I would focus on reducing the constitution that is overboard.
