You're that guy that never works a day in his life, because he found something he loves to do. Thanks for sharing that with the world. Now, lets continue.
One shot at the French tip is all that's needed in the craftsman hands. They are a beautiful work of art....beyond shoes ! I gasped when you first unwrapped them. The soles completed the artwork.
WOW...Blind stitch.. Exquisite !!! Excellent craftmanship. You are indeed "The Master" I really appreciate the dedication you show and have for your craft. Be You Boo !!! ;-)
Class act, you only demonstrate the quality of your work skills when you do what you do to repair worn shoes to wear better and last longer. Please no apologies when you (over work the shoes). It just means that you set high standards for yourself and you make every effort to meet those standards.
Just sitting here peacefully watching you cut the sole to do a blind stitch and then BAM! Sewing machine is running and my heart flew out of my mouth and hit the wall on the other side of the room! Holy crap! 😳😬😵😂🤣
My man Steve with the old school rap! I definitely remember it! Love the way these came out, incredible shoe. Also, I think "HOOKAH TIME WITH STEVE" is a must add to the videos!
Wow, those soles are spectacular. The “missing” drill was hilarious. Very instructional video. Learned some new stuff. Thanks for taking time to make the vids, Steve.
Steve, I think I speak for many of us when I say that we just enjoy spending time with you in your workshop, chatting, laughing and getting through the day. I think most of us prefer that you show each and every step. Who cares if the video is a bit longer. It’s interesting, and soothing, believe it or not. Just GO FOR IT Stevie B! That’s what I call you, Stevie B (B is for Bedo’s, silly I know) lol.
One of my favorite videos. Live the front porch segment. Get to see who you really are. I know i sure enjoyed meeting you at your shop. By the way, all 3 pair of boots are doing great!
I could just imagine "The Great Gatsby" wearing this pair of shoes to one of his 'Flaming Pigs' back in the 20's... As always a great job Steve and thanks for making today a GREAT day:) 🇬🇷☮️
Thank you for your words of wisdom! I’m like you. I love what I do so I’m always working and I need to relax and unwind and let my mind relax. Always a pleasure watching your videos.
4:51 - Some people have a big toe for a thumb. People that lose their thumbs in accidents have their big toe sewn on their hand to replace the lost thumb.
Got me some 2nd hand /defect Allen Edmonds and I love them. Got 2 pair for the price of one. Now I need to come visit u while seeing my 97 yo father in Williamsburg Va...we use to go through ur town on the way to “Intercourse” Pa.love ur town. Take care sir and what a beautiful pair of shoes...I want REAl cork, not this poured cork that Allen Edmonds uses now. And HR leather. No solid metal shanks either. They use to use solid cork but now...? Nope...gotta save money for share holders
I just bought Allen Edmonds McCalister of course regular one, it is walnut color but I had my shoe shiner do patina toes and hills none permanent and it looks fantastic!
Great video I watched this while I was stitching a lining in my louie bag. I am totally inspired by your work. I decided to restore some stuff wrather than let it languish in the closet.
Great work, Steve! Your buddy Doug did a great job on the uppers. Personally not a fan of the toe patina on this pair, but the owner obviously likes it and that is the only thing that matters!
Hi Steve you are not just a perfecter you are a Skilled knowledgeable perfecter at work , thank you for the whole package of a video from awesome workmanship to entertainment to relaxation to information and insight a for a good constantly talking throughout the show plus thank you to welcome us to always visit you , all the best to you Steve take care and see you again .
Steve...another wonderful vid. I loved the shisha chill time! A few months in Jordan introduced me to the pleasures of the communal "smoke break" ...post mansaf feast! ...Man, I truly miss it.
I've found that I can't predict if it's going to be a good day or not and if it's not, I don't try to force it. Just try to get through the bad ones and ride the good ones for all they're worth.
The shoes are amazing. AE Spectators are stunning and Bedo's artwork makes them distinctive. Wish I had a place to go where I could use a pair of these.
Awsome job - as usual Steve- Lifting the blind stich channel and the french tip was like watching a nail biting thriller- ( you probably had 10 coffees by then)- looking forward to the next installment. Your channel should come with a disclaimer-Addictive Compulsive Viewing👍🏻
In the Navy we had to bull our shoes to a VERY high shine. Once done we protected the shine by wrapping them in tights. I wish we had those sort of bags especially in velvet!
Fellow Navy Vet here also. I remember stripping our boots down with lighter fluid and shining them up with tampons!! Lol Many hours spent out on the smoking deck polishing those darn things!
4:51 ... believe it or not, I actually know a guy who had both of his big toes surgically implanted onto his hand after an industrial accident.. So, opposite of what you said, but it catches you off guard the first time you meet the guy, for sure. He's got one perfectly normal hand.. and one claw. Runs heavy equipment and drives semis for a living. It didn't slow him down a bit.
You're that guy that never works a day in his life, because he found something he loves to do. Thanks for sharing that with the world. Now, lets continue.
You are a wonderful human being I really enjoy your videos and the way you talk
32:11 jesus christ, from the quiet cutting to the outer-stitching machine, i almost fell out of my chair.

I fell asleep late last night watchin this vid. It's mesmerizing.
I admire your work and the philosophical thoughts about work and life that you share with us.
As someone who comes from a cobbler family, you do really, REALLY nice work. Thanks for sharing, it's a trip down memory lane with each video.
“I say what I want! Alright, let’s continue.” The best Steveisms ever!!
It's easy for people who don't do a thing to criticize those who do.
SteveO from Bedo's, I'm sure Doug will be ecstatic with the job you did. They look Great! Awesome as Always! Love watching you do your magic.
This guy is like Bob Ross for shoe repair! My favorite new subbed channel!
Ssj5Vegeta87 just wait till you get binging, it’s addictive.
Ssj5Vegeta87 You know what, you nailed it! Steve has a way that is soothing and calming just like Bob!
Dominic Minischetti ha, I just commented that Steve is an artist and then saw your post. 👍
Exactly...great way to put it...the combination of his voice and the shoe repair sounds make the videos gold.
I feel asleep at Tom Ford gator woke up to AE hammering. Wtf is going on I’m watching someone fix shoes and it’s very entertaining 🤔
One shot at the French tip is all that's needed in the craftsman hands. They are a beautiful work of art....beyond shoes ! I gasped when you first unwrapped them. The soles completed the artwork.

Love the videos Steve, the humor, sharing your personal philosophy, family history, and seeing the shoe transformation. Very fun to watch.
Somehow I recently found your channel and the videos are great! I love watching masters at their own crafts.
You and Doug did such a beautiful job on those. Great work.
Class act, you only demonstrate the quality of your work skills when you do what you do to repair worn shoes to wear better and last longer. Please no apologies when you (over work the shoes). It just means that you set high standards for yourself and you make every effort to meet those standards.
Awesome job Steve. You are a great artist as well as cobbler.

Just sitting here peacefully watching you cut the sole to do a blind stitch and then BAM! Sewing machine is running and my heart flew out of my mouth and hit the wall on the other side of the room! Holy crap! 😳😬😵😂🤣

Insane. Another unreal project. Pure genius!
The white/brown and beige canvas/brown are my favourite combinations of spectators. As always, a great job!
The Zen of Steve added to hammer work... I love watching the "Masters of their Craft" create or re-create their art... Your comments add to it!
My man Steve with the old school rap! I definitely remember it! Love the way these came out, incredible shoe. Also, I think "HOOKAH TIME WITH STEVE" is a must add to the videos!

Love those shoes. Super cool color combo.
Steve, you're an artist.
Thank you for your words of wisdom! I’m like you. I love what I do so I’m always working and I need to relax and unwind and let my mind relax. Always a pleasure watching your videos.
Wow, that's amazing that you can cut the stitch channel freehand!
4:51 - Some people have a big toe for a thumb. People that lose their thumbs in accidents have their big toe sewn on their hand to replace the lost thumb.
I'd rather have a big toe than a thumb, myself. Missing a toe, especially that one, makes running, walking or even just standing very difficult.
Impressive work. You are an artists.
Again outstanding work you are the full package, just wish you where in England now then Let’s Continue.

You should do a collaboration video with hand tool rescue and have your sole press restored Steve. Would be awesome to see it looking like new.
I just bought Allen Edmonds McCalister of course regular one, it is walnut color but I had my shoe shiner do patina toes and hills none permanent and it looks fantastic!

I've found that I can't predict if it's going to be a good day or not and if it's not, I don't try to force it. Just try to get through the bad ones and ride the good ones for all they're worth.
And he lays the heel top right next to the drill, and still he doesn't realize that the drill is right there!!! This was so funny.
