Speaking as a "lady", you don't need to do pocketbooks, purses or women's shoes to make your work more appealing to the female side of the human race. ALL your work is interesting and captivating to us all!
Your videos are not too long, ever. In my opinion, they are never long enough. We all appreciate fine craftsmanship, and enjoy your wacky sense of humor, too.

The customer not only has a resurrected pair of shoes to last decades, he has a video record of the skilled craftsman bringing them back from the edge of death. Both make the story for his future steps in his fine shoes.

I love watching you repair whatever item you are working on. You are a leather genius and I (as a woman) enjoy watching you perform your craft. You are a bit of a comedian also, so the levity that you add to your craft is like icing on the cake! Keep doing what you are doing, and I’ll keep watching. “Let’s continue! 👍🏽”

I wouldn’t complain about the way you do your work at all. If I didn’t like the way you were doing things I just wouldn’t watch. There are too many choices on RUclips. If I don’t like one I will choose another, it’s that simple. In my old age there’s not much that will offend me anyway. Just let it roll off the shoulder and move on.

Steve, I love you to bits, you rock, you are so funny, you make me laugh but on the more serious side you are one incredible craftsman. People like you are now few and far between. It’s a shame more young folk aren’t becoming apprentices as your skills are incredible and so worthy of being passed on.

I would really love to do this type of work. Im a renovations contractor. Been self employed for right at 10 years now. Last year we bought a piece of property just a few miles out of town, built a self storage with rv & boat storage on the property. We live and work onsite. However, i would prefer to never leave the property. Im a home body in general, so being able to earn our living onsite is a dream to me. We certainly appreciate our clients, and we enjoy seeing the before and after of the projects we do, but it also takes a lot of time to meet with clients, coordinate the project materials and work etc.
Anyway, working with my hands, being creative, and working alone is something that would be a good fit. Amazing work, and its quickly becoming a lots skill.

Steve, I"m a lady & I watched that video & I saw the shoe on the counter & guess what I remembered.....You are Steve....The Guy who, at the end of the video shows us shoes that look better than new every time!!!!!!! The comments would frustrate me! I like seeing you fix women's shoes now and then. I prefer men"s shoes over women's handbags. I am different because my Dad took me to shoe repair shop & that's what I remember with great fondness. I loved your story about your Dad's shop in Lebanon. I would love to hear more about your Dad, his business and more about your experiences growing up there. It is very enjoyable for to hear stories surrounding your craft & how you and your family came here. Great work on John Lobb, as usual. Love your videos, Steve! Subscribed and (truly) liked all the vids I have seen so far. Also because of you, I found myself buying a pair of Florsheim Royal Imperials that will be headed your way sometime in future. I really liked insight into your family and childhood memories from Beirut. It all makes sense now ... the Armenians in Beirut are known for their artisanship, especially in shoemaking. Having visited the Armenian parts of Beirut, I can picture the building type and the pride in craftsmanship that one still finds there today. Keep up the great work. Because of you I have renewed interest in handcrafted American shoes and no longer will question the labor costs in quality leather works. You really pushed back the darkness on this fascinating craft. Bravo!

Amazing amount of work. When I worked as a chauffeur in London I would take clients to John Lobb in St James. These were usually Americans & Canadians. Same for Cuban cigars & then we went to a discrete address in Mayfair so they could be relabeled for US import. I believe Bill Clinton also had his Oval Office Cuban cigars relabeled... probably by the Secret Service.😂😂😂

      Its not really splurging
2 quality pairs of shoes will last you 20 years so say
      Thats 300 dollars per pair
Plus a resole every 5 years worth 100
Its still cheaper than buying a 100 dollar shoe every year

I have shoes that are almost forty years old, and they didn’t cost $1000.00. The secret is maintenance, and not wearing the same shoes everyday. Only the flimsy, strappy evening shoes haven’t held up. Clean, condition, and check them regularly, and you’ll prance around in your beauties for years.

Great work there! One of my pet hates is seeing people not undoing the laces and trying to yank their feet into the shoes without shoe horns either; in doing so stressing out the heel counter and wasting time and energy trying to put the shoes on. When the shoes are on, they are loosely fitted. It is so much faster, easier and better if they had used the laces.

Love watching your videos even though I don't buy high end shoes. Although, I'm starting to think I should. The only reason I never bothered is because the way I walk, the soles wear unevenly VERY quickly, so I figure it was more cost efficient to buy cheaper shoes and just replace when the sole wears out after a few months. Hey Bedo,
don't let anybody tell you how to do your work. Seeing how hard your work is,how much strength you have to come up with to work the leather. After all those years your hands and joints must be aching like hell. Don't worry about our stupid comments,as long as your customers keep coming back for more, all is well. Keep up the good work!
    Frank

Enjoyed the outdoor philosophizing scene. Good judgement being a rare commodity, am interested in your observations.
