- This video is a long one, sorry. But if you wanted to know how I edited a beer commercial made in my kitchen, then this is the video for you.
If you didn't see the video on how this beer commercial was made, I strongly suggest you watch that first, then come back and spend 25 minutes (sorry) on this video as we explore keyframes and transform effects inside of Premiere Pro.
This video shows the steps I take in creating a beer commercial in my kitchen. You don't need a fancy studio, or expensive lighting. Just using what equipment you have around can lead to some epic cinematic shots. Follow along as I show you behind the scenes on creating an epic product commercial. We will look at the equipment used to light and style the shot before heading on into Premiere Pro where we make the actual magic happen.
Showing how you can shoot product commercials with a look into behind the scenes will hopefully inspire you to get your camera out and start shooting.
If you are keen to use similar equipment to what I have shown, all my gear is listed below.

Good luck for your first video. The early ones are always the worst so don’t be too hard on yourself
That was amazing!! Love the idea of animating the can illustration
Thank you so much 😀
Heey James I am a new member on the channel, and I love how you make high quality videos, especially this beer commercial, this was really really well done.
Very nice, I liked the honest breakdown of your process and thoughts. Definitely taught me a few tricks I’d like to try out.

Yea man, very interesting ! Loved it :) super informative
I'd be interested to know your camera and lens ?
How much can you charge for making a commercial like that for clients? Great stuff!
Excellent work. What lazy Susan is it please?
£40 on Amazon. Cheap for the results you can get. Might make a video dedicated to the lazy Susan
@@JamesKellyStudio that’s cool, I think it’s £90 for one with various speed options. Big difference in price
@@philpritchard8772 the one I use rotates once every 60 seconds I think. Would be great to get one with speed controls. Not seen that yet so will need to have a look.
