Feel free to keep these questions coming. I'll stock pile them for future episodes, or if they are good enough for a full length in depth video then maybe that too 👍
Hey James! I wonder if you have any ideas on what little lights with narrow beam angles like the lumecube, but like, way cheaper. I've looked around and found this product called the Ulanzi L1 Pro, but do you happen to know anything cheaper? Edit : And also, how do you reach out to brands to get to shoot product videos for them?
Hey James, I'm am currently a student studying film and television. what is the best way to reach out to potential clients? and what is some advice that you could give to a 19 year old who is wanting to become successful within this field.
38??? I'm 60 and decided I can do this because someone I know said I can't... I just said, "Watch Me". I hate people that say you can't do that. Will I make money from it?... I doubt it, but I'm going to have fun trying!. Thanks for your Videos, I love watching & learning.... Old dog... New Tricks!.
I've been trying to figure out how old you are for ages 😂 I'm 31 and also everyone thinks I look younger. It was annoying before but hopefully when we're 60 we'll look like we're 30 😀
I’ve just discovered your channel and I didn’t hesitate to instantly subscribe and watch half of your videos in one sitting. I have a question, I’ve just graduated doing editing and post production and want to go freelance. Have you got any tips that maybe you can share. I find it really hard to start off as I haven’t got that much experience in the real world. Thank you
thank you for answering my question about the 15 seconds advert ! it was a bit general but I clearly see why ! there is a lot to consider when setting up ur price so yeah .. I'll definitely dig more into that. Also if u could answer this question I'd be grateful : can i do 15 seconds ads only in 3D ? or is it more preferable to film the product in real life ?
Yeah It's tricky to give exact pricing as everyone will have a different value they put on themselves. Even my costs change quite often with the more clients and exposure you get, then you start putting yourself in the next bracket. Just remember to factor in all the extras that are needed to make the video a finished piece. As for the second question, totally yes if you're good in Cinema 4D or Blender for example then go for it. It may not prove to be the quicker option but you'll be able to pull off those robot arm moves without having to touch a camera. To make it look ultra realistic would be the key, plus I can't imagine how long it would take to create a realistic looking beer bottle and liquid compared to just shooting the real thing. So yes in theory, but that's not my area.
Just seeing you for the first time from Nigeria. Just about to start creating self made commercials for non-existent brands. Definitely following you on all socials
I'd say, just do it. Start creating content you love. My 14yo brother started a youtube channel for fortnite montages and is now editing car videos. He joined his school's film club and she just films and edits whatever he loves. And he's getting better every time!

New friend here, let's stay connected 🤝👍💜
You didn't really ever answer how much you charge or what one can expect to charge for similar beer spots? :)
