    • @aprilgeneric8027

most floaters are embedded debris from say metal grinding, weed whipping, wood sanding, paint removal abrasives, automotive or nonwater based paint. most of mine are sand type rocks or metal.
other floater are damaged tissue from the above for mentioned that scarred where they contacted the tissue.
nothing gets rid of those. my dad had a piece of slag weld that got into his eye while grinding right from under his eye protection as it bounced off his chest, and the eye doctor used real powerful magnets and it only worked on the bigger pieces.

I used to suffer from Blepharitis. When I stopped eating dairy, gluten, and eggs it went away. I now eat what is called Whole Food Plant Based. Before I started eating like this 100%, if I cheated, I had crusty eyelids the next day. Now I never have the problem. I mentioned it to my doctor, as I had been told there was no cure. My doctor recommended Optase eye drops, and I also purchased a moist heat eye mask and eyelid cleansing wipes thanks to your advice. I've been trying to follow a Mediterranean diet like you suggested as well.
Speaking of diet, I actually have some helpful knowledge myself that has helped me fight against overweight, and I would love to share it with your viewers. I've been watching your channel the past few days regarding dry eye. I had LASIK in the summer of 2021 after wearing glasses for the first 30 or so years of my life. The first 6 months I had no real problems but suddenly I had some chronic dry eye pop up. Making me feel tired all the time and seemed like no matter how much I slept, I was constantly tired which really halted my day to day life. I've gone through a good half dozen of various eye drops and didn't seem to work as well as plug treatment at my optomitrist and warm compresses. I went ahead and ordered myself a humidifier (which I set up last night), some eye ointments, and some plant based Omega 3 supplements today in hopes they'll help. I just wanted to say thank you for all your great advice ❤

My routine for dry eyes that has worked so far.
Go in the shower with warm water and let the water hit my eyes for a good 30 seconds. Then use the eye scrubs for 30 seconds on each eye but make sure I get in there and try to clean the lids. Rinse another 30 seconds.
Get out of the shower and add one eye drop on each eye (preservative free).
Then after I get out of work I wash my face and then use my warm compress for my eyes for 20 minutes. Right after the compress is done, I massage the lids by trying to "squeeze" the tears up to the lids. I saw a video online of a sample of how to do it.
I also avoid dairy foods and fast foods. I should be avoiding alcohol but trying to cut back because I notice these 3 things would make my eyes dry

I loved pretty much everything you said in the first half. I have eaten Whole Food Plant Based for 12 years now. No meat, dairy, fish or animal products of any kind. I permanently lost 120 pounds, my high blood pressure, high cholesterol and Diabetes are all gone. I get plenty of Omega 3's from Flax and Chia Seeds so no fish needed. An issue with eating fish is that not only is it meat, but given that our oceans are full of poisons that humans dump into the rivers wind up in the ocean, and the little fishes ingest a lot of these chemicals, like mercury in Tuna, not limited to Mercury or Tuna however. Consider the issue of Bio Accumulation where the whole food chain of fish eating the smaller fish and all those poison wind up in those Tuna and Salmon. Do your due diligence. I suggest you go on with Chef AJ who would be very receptive to your expertise. Totally a good idea. I note my eye prescription improved in the last 12 years. No longer have to wear glasses to drive! Really good question! I should do a video on all those. Yes, antihistamines and antidepressants are both known to cause more dry eye, same with medications for high blood pressure. Also acne treatments.

i find psylum husk when baking give you good increase of dietary fibre and you really don't need much another thing i love in my diet for vitamin D and a load of B vitamins is mushrooms which is really good. but you need to put them out in a sunny window to increase the vitamin D in the mushrooms as they tend to grow them in the dark, i remember from University that is a common practice for mushroom growing.

I had a brain tumor removed about 6 years ago. No radiation or chemo, just surgery.
A few years prior to that, my opthalmologist said she could see a fuzzy area near the center of both retinae. Fast forward 5 years and now my right eye (the brain tumor was on my right side, ate up my vestibularcochlear nerve) and the vision in my right eye is very blurry, but only sometimes. Could it be related to the brain tumor, or am I having issues because of my fuzzy retina? I just had a fasting lab, glucose was at 124 😬 Following the advice at Laird Wellness and other places, I am being more diligent with my diet. You CAN reverse diabetes!! You CAN get your islets of Langerhans to return!! You CAN get your pancreas's beta cells to re-express after they've "given up" and turned into alpha cells 🤯 I'm no expert but I've read enough to know that I think I'm headed in the right direction 🙏 Thank you for the info, gonna sub to your channel

Doctor, I have a question at the end of mansoon season mostly August - starting of October there is constant irritation happens in my eyes and because of that white thread comes out from my eyes and if I take them out it again cause itching in the eyes and if I rub them my eyes turn red. Because of irritation and itching I can't even study properly. Once I consult with the homeopathy doctor and he told me that the cause of this irritation and itching is my high body temperature he prohibited my drinking aur eating any types of spices and strictly told me to not to eat something that increases my body heat. Please tell me what I can do to remove this problem. I am starting to face this problem at 18th year right now I m 21 years old. Please give me some suggestions for this.

I did a Spartan race in 2013 and one of the events involved going under a fence from one side to the other in muddy water. When I came up there was muddy water in my eyes and I had to quickly yank my contacts out. Luckily there was a water station right after that event. I rinsed my contacts off with fresh drinking water then stuck them in my mouth before placing in my eyes. I really had no other choice because my vision is -3.75 and -3.25 and was literally out in the woods. Luckily I didn't have any adverse reactions. My best friend called me a "beast" for doing that. I finished the race to say the least 😂
