I feel that nowadays most photographers feel obliged to have to surprise those who follow them with increasingly elaborate photographs. But this causes the photographer to lose the identity of his work. You are different, you capture what you like and nothing else matters. I love photographs of plants because nature and the color green for me is the most beautiful thing on earth. Taking photos of the houses with the approach you give them is a total success, a resource that many underestimate. Congratulations.
@@be-veo No way are these sooc jpegs :,) I've never seen a camera with Jpegs that are satisfactory (except maaaybe some Fuji cameras with their simulations). I always shoot RAW and then edit in Lightroom :)
i wouldn't have that much of control and would start taking pictures of literally everything. japan just has this pleasant personality and makes me wanna appreciate even the tiniest details. your photography is beautiful, i love the way you insert flowers and plants in your shots and, besides that, your photos give the feeling of being inside the scene. absolutely stunning, hope i can create shots as wonderful as yours once i go to japan!
What I found surprising was that Tokyo streets look so clean, no garbage around and that a lot of people have their mouths covered and we can't see their whole face.
@@spuky_18 street photography shouldn't be all elitist and shit, or even trying to get top of the line shots, it should be about just going out and capturing anything and everything that you think looks nice

this video makes me feel a sense of peace within and being a photographer helps me understand/relate more to such amazing experiences we get to witness during exploring our passions
I find it quite relaxing what you do. It is so cool to see someone just taking photos, which are in my opinion all nice. Also the vibe in your videos just bring me down to earth again. Idk hoe to say it. Thanks for the videos man.
That photo of the Granny's at 3:18 is fantastic! It is a very interesting subject and foreground! It is a photo that tells a story. I love it! Side note: I just found you and really appreciate your honest discourse of your photos. Your personal comments on the photos is super valuable to me. It helps newer people improve also. I have so much respect for you for not trying to sell every photo that you take as GOD TIER. Too many on the internet try to sell their photos as more than they are. Your photography is fantastic, IMO. Keep it up and thanks for bringing us along!
I like how you're capturing simple things or scenes that we ignore in our day-to-day life, It was great, I also enjoy taking pictures of mundane things whenever I go outside but it made me think that I'm weird (cause most of the places is crowded here), this video inspired me to feels less embarrassed about it, also your photography skill is amazing

very much enjoy the commentary and insight you give on your shots - even the ones that are a "miss". showing those shots rather than hiding them deserves some respect, too!
What i love about Japan is the beauty is everyday places. IT is not ornamental for sake of it but very utilitarian. I am in similar stage of street photography struggling to take photos in very crowded areas
Man Japan has just figured out fashion. This is probably what stood out to me most when I visited the country for the first time. Everyone is dressed properly, not just in stupid loungewear and ski masks.
Capturing all of these beautiful moments makes me feel so "natsukashii" about Japan. Thank you so much for this. I also think there was a huge improvement here in having the courage to take shots of people's faces even when sometimes they would look straight into the camera. My favorite shot might have been the pink building to the left with the family on the sidewalk in the middle of the composition (It just felt like something I have seen many times before in Japan - very natsukashii)
Always a pleasure to watch, keep pushing! Japan is so great for photography, so many things to discover! 🎉 Love the photo at 16:33, imagine if the guy on the foreground was blurred…
Such a beautiful and calming video. I loved it so much.. The streets of Tokyo, the music, the slow paced voice, everything is so relaxing. I love the color grading.
I am new here but! I really like this format exploring a city! Feels like I am you, trying to figure out what is captivating in the scene. Absolutely genius.
Just got my first camera ever and it's the gx80 with the 20mm f1.7 pancake lens, and this last 2 weeks i've been outside almost all day, already got my custom profiles on the camera and im just exited to shoot and record on it. Thanks for making videos with the gx80 they're always great! Much love from Croatia!🤍
I would LOVE to see the setup on how you filmed this! Also can you make a tutorial on how you edit your Colors in your videos and photos, truly amazing work!
Phenomenal work, Teo. Your commentary alongside the imagery really captures the environment so purely. Also, the snooping grannies in the beginning was hilarious. Couldn't have asked for a better shot lol
Hi Teo. I just came across your channel via this video and although I haven't even finished it yet but I love it! The way you walk us through your reasoning, what caught your attention in the shot/object, etc... Also, very humble of you to show as well the photos you didn't like, not only the ones that turned out perfect! I'll keep following, since Japan is as well on my bucket list! :D
Hii, this is the first video I've come across and I'm so happy I did. The shot with the two grannies is just everything! I would love to see a video where you do something like this and talk more detail on how you adjust for different exposures, and more of the technique :)
I love all the warm spring vibes in your photos especially when they picture some interesting people ^^ how much work do you put in the editing of these? is it just a minute in photoshop? it seems so artsy and perfectly realistic in capturing mood - I am so impressed, how you make it feel like I by myself experienced that moment and those photographs just captured my memories. although, you‘re just in practicing street photography you have such a beautifully realistic way of seeing the world! just wanted to let you know that and I wish you a wonderful day :)
Thank you so much for the kind words! I’m pretty fast with my edits because I’ve been practicing for 8 years at this point, however a minute is still not enough hahah - I might take five minutes per photograph🙌🏼
19:00 That is exactly what I thought when I saw this photo "Main character energy." This picture captures it very clearly. Also, if we observe clearly everyone in this photo is wearing muted colors whereas her top is in vibrant color which makes her standout and helps in capturing the "Main character energy" perfectly.
I live in near Nakano, and I never thought these streets were interesting to someone! And they are such a great photos and I learnt a lot from this 22min video!
I love it actually ❤ your style and the peaceful vibe it's giving, first time watching your video, and looking at all these empty streets (also very clean) and the calm environment around your area I'm amazed as well curious to know how beautiful Japan is. it made me feel like I was in that space/present there walking around the streets myself.
5:19 this would have been the perfect shot. you see this everywhere, in movies, animes, pictures and so on. a little shop with dishes, in front the flowers, the cloth hanging down and the bicycle. thats japan in his purest form.
I just bought my first camera GX9 with the 25mm 1.7f lens after watching this video. Looking forward to receiving them. Thanks for your amazing photos!👍
early! i love this so muchhhh, all of these shots are fantastic (even the ones you say are not so good) and i even noticed with the shot at 13:51 that the man's legs are spread perfectly to align with the differing colored pavement heh... overall, absolutely lovely shoot!
such a cool video! i was wondering, how often do people get angry at u by taking their picture? i imagine that doing street photography involves a lot of courage to just point the camera to someone and shoot it

I loved how aesthetically gorgeous your photos and I was suddenly shocked by the part where you accidentally deleted your files. 😂😊❤ But honestly your video is so nice Japan is so amazing country and I dream of visiting that place soon.
Also like the scene in 19:59 where the man makes his neighbouring person aware that his backpack is open and things could fall out or prole coould grab things from it (which would never happen in Japan)
