  • Making Viking Arms and Armour for a king! I use brass and antler to create a repousse deer skull crown for a Viking King! Using ancient techniques I form the sheet metal into a skull and Grant comes to mount the antler onto the crown. Koreen joins in the shop as well, making a leather lining for the crown so that it fits snuggly for movement.

How much would you charge for a crown like this one? I'm very interested and I checked your site along with your Etsy and I'm disappointed to not find it.

Thanks for the inquiry. I am no longer taking commissions. They were around $1000 USD.

Beautiful job. There isnt a link where you get the brass plates, is that something you can divulge?
Also do you sell the pattern for the other viking crown you made?
Keep up the great work. Glad I found the channel.

It becomes about balance. Sometimes people hang cloth down the back of the crown as decoration to help with the balance. The antlers were screwed through a piece of metal to attach them.
