Just a few ideas I have tried and they worked. Only rub in a downward motion when it comes to taking off pet hair. Some products I use on other problems came to mind while trying to get pet hair off my sofa skirt. I hate static cling as much as pet hair. I use softer and fabric sheet in my laundry which helps. But I keep a static guard spray in my house and car. Had a thought and I sprayed it on the skirt of my sofa, vacuumed & pet hair came off so much easier. I have always used spray starch on my duster to get dust off window blinds. Sprayed it on sofa it worked same way as static guard. On your sheets and clothing try a bit of your favorite lotion. Rub it in good on your hands, cloth or that blue glove you have. But rub in one direction. Downward worked best for me. I always have lotion in my purse. If you see pet hair on your clothes, give it a try.
I'm a cat owner for 6 years, the first 5 as a new "cat mom" I had the same problem. I love my cat and I'm addicted to sleep with her, but also I hate sleeping with pet hairs all over. I used everything through the years, and nothing works like silk/satin bed sheet (it's easier to clean the pet hair and also they are hypoallergenic) and I use daily my handled vacuum machine that had a "special tool" for pet hair, my vacuum machine it calls Xiaomi mi handled vacuum, and trust me it's a life changer.
HELP!!!!!! Thank you for trying all these hacks! PLEASE keep trying and keep us updated. I have a Pomeranian, and even though I brush her 3-5 times a week the hair is EVERYWHERE!!!!
I vacuume my sheets while there on the bed .use the soft bristle end on the end of vacuumed hose .make sure the sheet is tight( can use one hand).so it doesn't keep getting sucked in vacuumed hose .then wash it
Need to buy a vacuum just for blankets. I'm going to get one myself, cause I agree the one place i hate hair is in my bed. But I can't leave my fluff ball hanging & not let her cuddle. vacuum seems to be the best solution. just have to fork over some money & only use it for blankets.
I had the same issue on my 400 count sheets. Then I got 1800 count and the dog hair doesn't stick to it. Maybe becuz the thread is tighter. I use to change the sheets everyday but now I could shake it off or vacuum the top of sheets and hair comes right off.
@@kid.turtle thread count. How many threads per square inch of the bed sheet. Usually the higher the count, the thicker the sheet is. ( so less holes for the hair to go in)
Right there with you!!! Lol it’s everywhere I mean everywhere but that’s what you get when you love your pets!!! I could seriously make sweaters and rugs out of all the fur hahahaha
I agree...I have 6 indoor cats and wowzer. I am a widow and my kids aren't close by. I also am a tad anti social anymore and so I don't have lots of drop in company...thankfully. But, I would still like to keep the house a little more hair free for when there is someone here besides just me. Lots and lots of vacuuming is the only thing I have found and it still floats in the air all the time!
@@sandysue202 yes and I don’t have any carpet where I live it’s all hard floors no carpet to at least help catch the fur so it’s always floating around in the air getting onto everything

I’m brushing my cats using Furminator brush recommended by groomer as often as I can .I think it helps a lot .I shake sheets and blankets on my backyard .Before I go to bed I use different hair removal brushes and lint brush .I really think grooming animals thoroughly and giving them a bath if possible helps .I have 29 rescued cats and don’t have time to make a video to show how I do it .I might only when I retire .😂
I use kitchen rubber gloves (plattex) on my sheets before washing. Then I put my bedding in the dryer first (dirty) Then wash. I bought a silky bread speed to protect my bed because the hair doesn’t stick to it.
The hair on my white towels!! I started wiping off myself and felt all these super fine hairs and then I started rubbing my body and then I see all my cats super red hair.... ugh I hate this and makes me want to shower again but I don't even have a towel to towel off. I do wash with 1 cup of vinegar with all my laundry so I don't know how this time I ended up with fur... I hate it because my white towels look super white so make it make sense
Lilly brush and shop vac worked in my car . Pet Release Fabric softener sheets. I have 3 long haired cats. It's everywhere but that's what I've been doing. I don't think anything works 100%.
Rubber gloves do work, i have just removed cat hairs from comforter, it still doesn't give u 100%hairs. I do use kitchen slab cleaner as well to gather the hairs. It does work too again not 100%
@@teachmehowtoclean9035 they are called fur zappers and they arent amazing. I do use the Bounce dryer sheets meant for pet hair, they are okay, but I still struggle with fur ALL over my clothes and blankets.
I’m counting down the days when my daughter’s cat is hella outta here lol- Mainstays lint rollers from Walmart (the small twin packs) are the best. Then a trip to the chiropractor😞
I completely feel you I have a cat for mice control and he’s good at that but his hairs are everywhere and I want to give him away due to that and just buy mice traps in the future if we get them again

? 400, 1800? What does this mean

An old dry cleaning pro shared tumbling a dry garment in the dryer on high heat for five minutes... give it a whirl!
Doesnt work, I put a blanket through the Dryer for 5 hours, it came out just as hairy as when it went in
I do handheld vacuums plus the ordora pet hair remover (which is basically a reusable lint roller but works fantastic, just tedious unfortunately)

What’s the best material fabric to use to not attract dog hair?
I’m looking for a new bed set/comforter that doesn’t attract dog hair as bad.
I am really not to sure on that one. I am also in the market for something similar.
Silk!
I was thinking of some really crappy plastic like fabric but silk might be the thing
Silky! Absolutely works! Run the bedspread in the dryer before you wash
I buy a polyester blend ( it's soft plsstic) and it's great
Spray static cling on your sheets take it outside and shake it
