I have a e39 with a built turbo s52 I'm from lake George n.y. (I have a few videos on my "Drew Davis" channel/ s52 e39 turbo) your corner fog light holes actually see low pressure , it's kinda not intuitive. That said my oil cooler is on the driver's side behind the fog ,and works great when the fan is on. The biggest help is the under tray that is the front half of the engine/ front splitter. If that's not there the air loads up under the hood. I actually put a e46 m3 hood vent on my hood to let the turbo heat out. (Top mount)
Great project mate!
Thanks!

I always wondered if you had fluid come out of the power steering with the recirculating ball set up vs. My rack
