I have had a Mercedes A-Class AMG Line for the last 3 years, and need something more affordable. I didn’t expect to find a Vauxhall Astra 🇬🇧 with so many features, and great quality. I will definitely be test driving this.
New opel astra is really nice car, even it's on higher level than the previous generation in quality, features like head-up display or full digital cockpit are finally there.
I am wondering about the noise isolation in cabin you mentioned in the video already, but you were driving 80 km per hour while you experienced! So, until 110 km, almost every car on the market even including my soft top Miata, drives quite silence but the real noise starts after 110 km though! For instance, in where i live, the speed limit on the highways is allowed to 152 km per hour. And i usually drive on the highways between 150 to 170 km depending on the situation. My question is, did you experience the noise isolation on the new Astra within high speeds apart from 80 km? This is important because if you didn't do so, this might be misleading! Look forward to hearing from you. Thank you in advance
it has a hill holder (when you release the brake pedal, it holds until you press the gas pedal)... at least I have it on my Peugeot, so I think Astra has it too. and I find it more than sufficient
@@SDADanCars thank you, I’ve Heard people say they can’t hear the music of window down and you can hear your self talking still even when it’s full blast We’ve just ordered one on motability for my son, but he finds music comforting as it drains out all background noises with sensory processes disorder
I would change the interior door handles, exterior ones and the mirrors and i would say that its an Opel. i still love the Astra J and K,looking to buy a Astra J 2015 in The high spec Cosmo or Excellence :D Great review!
OMG, Opel is dead.☹ I've been waiting years for the new (fully electric) Astra, but this car has like zero Opel DNA, except for the Manta-ish grill maybe. The inside is extremely unOpel and just objectively fugly, like some Citroen, the Peugeot 308 has miles better looking interior, and that's the Corsa's sister model. W.T.F. Okay, just checked, the middle console is straight up from a Citroen C4. So sad to see Opel going out like this.
Opel was dead under GM... for decades, so to say... PSA bought a "dead horse" from GM and now, they at least trying to make decent, modern cars. besides that, even though they use the same mechanics like Peugeot, DS and Citroen, at least they don't look like an egg to an egg... as the vast majority of VW's does to Škoda or Seat, where only lights and grille are different

Yes I was also impress with the car 🙂
I'd say Opel is more known for their AGR seats than Peugeot is known for their seats.
👍👍
Beatutiful Astra👍.The presentation is very good.Good Job👍
Try not to blur the footage on dashboard speed to see how much car accelerates. thanks
Great review Dan - here in the UK the Astra has always been a good all rounder for families and new drivers trading up from their first car.
🙏🤗

Love Opel Astra !!
It's a really thought out and well designed car defo my favourite released this year 👍
Are you sure this has independent suspension on the rear axle? I read otherwise
Did you feel any vibration from engine or eat8? Is it smooth?
It is smooth 👍
Dan, nice video again, but it would be great if you could drive on the highway also, to show the road noise / isolation at 120 km/h. Thanks !
I will soon 👍
How is it compared to Ford focus 2022
man thank you so much for making finnaly a pov for this new opel astra.
Thanks also for feedback 🙏
Interior looks dope , really good looking car 😃 , but this car's price is too much maybe because of taxes , but 45k for a hatchback is too much
Thanks for feedback 🙏
Superb review Dan. You come across very well. Astra looks a great car . Keep up the good work .....Karl from uk.
Thanks Karl👍🙏

I just paid £27500 in England for GS line
Nice 👍
Does it have autohold or something like it?
No 😪
@@SDADanCars i really can't understand how they left out such a basic but essential feature for comfort☹️
it has a hill holder (when you release the brake pedal, it holds until you press the gas pedal)... at least I have it on my Peugeot, so I think Astra has it too. and I find it more than sufficient
Astra K has autohold...this one must to
Then in Australia is the new model is in the Holden astar
👍
No holden belongs to GM but Opel not anymore so they are not going to rebadge Opels for Holden anymore.
Bruh I am
Holden no longer exist
Nice car!
What the sub woofer like
It is good 👍

Hi Looking for an employee ?
How does the ride compare to Peugeot 308??
Very similar ....hard to say ....
@@SDADanCars Thankyou
0-100 km/h 9,7 sec Is not so good..aggressive look but a Little bit bad performance
I don't get it... 1.3 and 130hp with 18" wheels for what? Better fuel management lol

Yes right 👍 Thanks for feedback my friend 🙏🤗
Saut dan ami merci astra
No 3 door vxr. Not interested
Thats no Vauxhall anymore, its a PSA Car.
Yes 👍
One can clearly see the influence from the French owners...
All based on the "default" Stellantis platform and design 😵💫
👍
Better Astra J design, another 💩
Опель 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 все материалы рsа франция!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sister equivalents are:
508 - Insignia
308 - Astra
208 - Corsa
108 - Adam or maybe the smaller Karl
