They could just about pass for a current model - they dang sure don’t look like a 30+ year old vehicle. Kind of like the last Gen RX7 - they could just about pass as a current model car.
I had one of those. Had one of these too. We were a Camaro family! Brother had a 67, sister had a 79, mom had an 82 (first year Gen 3) then an 86 IROC convertible, and I had an 87 yellow 5.7 t-top and when it got totaled I got a 90 RS V8 with t tops in purple. My buddy had a 1990 300ZX - had to go to Atlanta, GA from Asheville, NC to find one right after the new body style came out. I got a twin turbo ZX in 92 - that diamond white color. THAT thing was beyond fun!! They were such a drastic departure from the previous model (girlfriend had an 87) but were just phenomenal even without the turbos. Almost bought a black 94 twin turbo earlier this year, only had like 30k original miles - unmolested except for the tinted windows and aftermarket wheels. My wife has threatened me with bodily harm if I bring home another vehicle of any kind!! LOL That one just might have been worth it.
It’s a beautiful car, but I’d rather see it on upsized reproduction IROC stock-style rims… those IROC rims are the best-looking wheels for a 3rd gen Camaro, IMO.
@ Yes, that’s my point. It would look better with them. Many companies make larger repros of the IROC stock-style rim in 18-20” sizes (the original was 16”) and I think this IROC would look a lot better with a set of those. If you disagree that’s fine, that’s why it’s called an opinion 🙂
@@6dro6opy6 Except for it to be “just a Camaro” you’d have to change the entire front clip and take off the rear spoiler and the full body ground effects kit these had. THEN it’d be “just a Camaro without the IROC wheels”.
@@anthonyiadarola1201 I saw several. They were hard to come by though. Many of the early Gen 3 Z28’s with manuals were just 4 speeds. I had a 1990 RS with a V8 and a 5 speed - it was purple!! LOL It had tinted windows & some silver BBS rims with the polished lip on it when I bought it - daddy bought it for his daughter, she didn’t like changing gears herself!! Had less than 1000 miles on it. I freaking LOVED that car!!!
My Dream car. I love the look

It has everything you could ask for in a car.👌
I had the 1990 Z… love that car
Always love that car. I should have gotten one but I went for 300ZX Twin Turbo

Best factory wheel ever made

They are fun to drive!🧐
The 5.0 305 had a manual available.
I’ve never seen a manual in those cars

Manual and T bars, you don’t see many of those around anymore.
Did you even watch the video?? As he said - engine AND tranny were BOTH changed out.
