- Mork & Mindy was the first tv show to display an incredible talent of Robin Williams. The audience instantly fell in love with the "cute and cuddly" alien Mork and his human friend Mindy. I think of this show with great fondness because it's extremely funny, lovely and kind.
It's the kind of TV product we really need these days. It was a huge hit back in the day and i think the people in 2015 could really use a little happiness it gives. Anyway, here's a little video, i hope you gonna like it!

Oh, this made me laugh and cry and smile - sometimes all at the same time.
How I miss this man. What a shame he seemed to not realize how many people loved him, even if just from afar. It still breaks my heart.
I met him in my one & only extra work in his movie Man Of The Year. As I said it was my first time so a seasoned extra took me under his wing & told me what to expect which would probably be a lot of nothing (which was basically true. At the very end of the last day of shooting they took us aside & Robin came over, shook hands, asked names & how the day went for every extra there. I was really nervous & excited as he was about to get to me but when it happened it was like finding a lost soulmate. We so need a little Robin in the world right now but I feel all this hate & fear would be to rough on him. Bangarang oh captain my captain. See you in Neverland.

Loved this show as a kid. Hard to grasp it was so long ago now. 40+ years back in the memory machine.
A very sweet retrospective. Well done. This was my favorite show as a kid. Robin Williams' Mork was weird and different, and he was celebrated for it. For a weird little kid like me, that was a revelation.
I had the biggest crush on Mork when this series was first run; yes, I'm that old.
So much to say, but I'll keep it to; thanks for all of your beautiful vids, and he is still missed.

Anyone else notice Robin Williams had that compulsion to bite his bottom lip now and again? It just made him so much more believable as the child-like personas he had! Brilliant video!

There aren't enough Mork & Mindy videos on RUclips, either of just clips or music videos. This one is absolutely spectacular. I've watched it probably around 40 times already. I would really like to see one to Owl City's Good Time or Imagine Dragons's On Top of the World. :)

You can tell both Robin and Pam had a lot of fun making this show.
Actually no, the production grew increasingly troubled after the first season. Still a testament to their great acting abilities!
What probably pulled them through the bad production decisions and the switching of air nights and different writers was the fact that these two were genuinely fond of each other and had a good time together. Pam talks about it and him fondly, now. And whenever she was around Robin after the show was over, they were caught on camera laughing and laughing. And Robin said, when he found out the show was cancelled by reading TV Guide, "It was like reading my own obituary." So, even with all that trouble, there was real affection there.

Hard it's believe it's been just over 6 years since we lost this wonderful caring soul. I can't imagine the pain & fear he must of been going thru the last few months of his life. I can imagine how he'd be trying to make is laugh now. In a way I'm glad he isn't around to see the fear & hatred in the world right now. Just finished re-watching my DVD Mork & Mindy box set to help pass the time. Bangarang of captain my captain. See you in Neverland !!

+Jack Merz I was just thinking about Doctor Who when watching this - some of Mork's outfits look a lot like the sixth doctor's (though he definitely looks more fun to be around than that character), and apparently he's also an alien who looks like a human and likes to hang out on Earth :P

PhoenixDragonDreamer yeah, hopefully she is well and happily married to Mark Harmon. Robin and Pam actually did an episode of the show called the Crazy Ones together again in 2013. That was very cool =)
