Is this the same Mr Hall who was doing exams 6/7 years ago? If so, he's getting younger. Had him three times (and scored all three), and I hardly recognize him.

One memory I have of Mr Hall is, I think it was on the final question when I got the drop from 56s, he asked me Linden Gardens, going south somewhere. I got that it was on Notting Hill Gate, but I couldn't remember where it was in relation to Palace Gardens Terrace (it's right opposite). Threw me off balance for the rest of the run. I thought that was a clever way to throw somebody, and all done, of course, with the utmost courtesy.

I passed out in 2006,lost my badge due to my gps criminality, when I did the knowledge I was told that they hold you back?no matter how good you were everyone has to do there three and a half years years? I was told that by an examiner? I did it in 3 years and 7 months,Won't name him,but I only had one examiner that was just being a horrible c**t just for the fun of it? Because you are told that they test your temperament i didnt complain but I knew it was not right? Basically I had him twice both times he asked my a point I went "erm"....he didnt even give me a chance,he immediately jump up very aggressively saying don't know it there's your card leave the door open on your way out? So I didn't go and complain because again you are lead to believe it would go against you? Cut to 5 years later now a cab driver I pick up the woman who was sort of in charge of of black Cabs? I told her about it? She said yeah well he was asked(told)to resign because of serious inappropriate behaviour towards female candidates?but the rest of my apperences were great were fair BUT I was being held back because you had to do three and half years before they would put you out?

    • @WizAnn320

You could get out quicker but certainly if there was anything to mark you out it could affect your time. But i do know many people with clean records who worked very hard and also took 3 and half years. So to be out quicker requires Talent, Luck and hard work

@@WizAnn320 after calling a route the examiner said "well that's £14.80, I can d it for £11.20! So I said ," I will look out for you sir when I want a cab!" He didn't find it funny and I didnt get my points!.

I had mr hall on my 1st appearance I was useless but just did enough to score.
& mr whitehead on my REQ
Personally I thought I was badge ready at the end of 28’s.
But mr whitehead came along & gave me 2 D’s back to back.
    Got redlined on 21’s.
I then had him again when I was 3-0 up on 21’s 2nd time around, & he D’d me again .
I started to hate him , genuinely thought who’s this man think he is.
Then I had him again !!!
He called my name out & I thought “oh crap, this guy hates me”
But he gave me my REQ.
    I cried uncontrollably.
I was £25,000 in debt , working part time for £300 a month & sleeping on my sisters sofa.
& had fallen out with most of my family due too the stress of the knowledge .
So when Mr whitehead started saying “not good enough today mr Jeffers” it was pretty awful,.,we’re talking border line nervous breakdown
He did at least explain himself after the handshake.
& I do thank him for making that last appearance a memorable one. Back in June 2015
    4 years & 8 months on the K.
The waiting room was always packed & the competition was through the roof.
    Anyways
I’m now much happier & glad I done it. Good luck if your doing the knowledge.
