@@mercedesbenzs600bash 200k miles is like 50,000 miles for this truck. The 6.2l engine is very reliable. The suspension is solid and strong as hell . The highest quality materials were put into this truck. No corners cut . Also Lots of power (over 400 horsepower . If you get the truck tuned you will see almost 500 horsepower.) It's also Very fast for a truck this size ! 0-60 in 6.5 seconds) i seen a 2009 Escalade with 180k miles for $7000 about 3 days ago. Great luxury bargain. & People still think you're rich if you own one even in 2019.... (No kidding)
Its cousin would be more in line with the Yukon Denali. I've been saving up to put half down on a 09 or 10. They are still running between 12 and 16 thousand depending on miles. I'm looking around 120-130 range. The door handles feel cheap and hollow and a lot are broken 7 to 10 yrs old
Love the 6.2 motor. I think I'm gonna buy it just for that. It's basically a corvette motor. I have a gmc yukon now looking to upgrade from the 5.7 vortec
If the 3rd row didn't suck ass I would get one. Guess I'll stick with my Nav. However since the current generation Slade has IRS. I'll wait 7 years to get one. Lol
More than half of them are selling over 100k since everyone wants the Premium Lux/Sport/Sport Platinum. I still prefer the old column shifter in the other generations bc I hate that fansy unnecessary electronic scrap shifter taking up console space. I love the truck feel and i dont need it to be a BMW smh. Otherwise good to go, in 10 years lol. The PANO roof was needed a decade ago and all of them have dual exhaust finally like my 14' ESV Premium
@@kalruggs1719 i dont say things to say things factory does not sound like this. Ive been around with direct experience i just thought it was funny its completely overlooked on this video.
@@kalruggs1719 mine too. I love the exhaust note on all of the GMT900 trucks. The 15+ got super quiet and they all sound muffled unfortunately. Even the Express/Savannah vans sound throaty ❤
Just got one of these, cut off twice once when i first brought it and again a month later after changing the fuel pump but it will start again after sitting 30/40 minutes can't figure out what's wrong, i don't even want to drive it for fear of it cutting off again randomly
i love how this guy actually knows what he’s talking about
One of the best gen escalades ever made
I'm getting one of these real SOON,real good review my man....
Good truck. Very wise choice
@@NewJerseyPhiladelphiaDelaware I hope so my man, looks like a great truck though...
@@mercedesbenzs600bash real reliable. Easily go to 300k miles
@@NewJerseyPhiladelphiaDelaware I'm seeing so many with over 200,000 miles,saw one with 303,000 miles,pretty impressive....

On my wish list.
Dos it come with trailer brake controller? 7 pin?
Is there any physical difference to the eye for the exterior?

How can you even compare those cheap navs with an Escalade SMH
@THAT-ONE the 3rd row do matter. Plus having IRS helps. However I traded in my Nav for a 16 CTS. Favorite car ever
Apple products like you iPhone Can be connected directly or you need a new car Sotero for that ?
If reliability is so hit or miss, what’s keeping the resale value of these trucks so high?
reliability on these is not hit or miss if you take care of it. these things can run forever if maintained properly
Many cars I won't consider unless I watch your reviews first
are we not going to talk about the aftermarket air intake shown in this video that produces WAY more noise then factory to give it the sound it has?
Factory sounds the same.

Truth Time TV I noticed it too, I own an escalade, no aftermarket air intake and it sounds just like that

Do an ext review!
How come no one ever mentions the Infiniti QX 56 or QX80?!
