I don't understand why pep and other people talking about how much Leo walks and never bring up how much he ran when he was younger, and also they bring up how the other leagues are more physical than the Spanish leagues, but if they would remember the hits he took in the classicos against Real Madrid and practically every team he played against Chelsea and the other opponents in the champions league, who were physical, and I'm not saying that it happened always just the first 5 years or so, after that as he had more experience and the opponents realized that it brought cards and as he got better with free kicks goals, it's not about how or why but you hear people say oh he never runs, but the videos are there for all to see, but I see now the ideas behind his walking, but maybe it doesn't matter really, because when I watch him when he was younger I could tell how much I and others appreciate what he could do and how he could change a game, and that works for me and that all that matters, him and Ronaldo were really a pleasure, and now some of these younger players are and will feel the same pleasure watching as I have, as long as they can survive these extended 2 or 3 continent long world cups played over 2 months plus the traveling doesn't exhaust them.

I don't think Sterling has ever been on the level of Messi he was struggling to get game time for City towards the end of his time there.
