Underrated attributes of Messi: - When he decides to take the ball of you by pressing you, he WILL get it. He rarely makes a mistake in his estimations/calculations. - He is the best possible teammate to have because he doesn't blame/scapegoat his lesser teammates even if they're horrible players. - His decisions on the ball, makes football very simple & straightforward for teammates when they receive it. It's like he makes the decision for you. - He sees EVERYTHING way ahead of time. For example offside calls, tackles from behind, - He sometimes receives the ball between 4-5 players and somehow finds the exact & only possible solution to get out and progress the ball. - He always gives credit to talented players in football way before anyone else. He also remembers many legends. He's very cultured & up to date. - He enjoys those physical games like the Clasico's. Which is why he also suits the warrior mentality of the Argentina team. He's a true warrior. He has so many details & attributes that are simply impossible to comprehend when you consider the numbers he's putting up as well.
Things I learnt from Ronaldo fans after the World Cup 1. FIFA helped Messi to win the World Cup with Penalties, 2. FIFA helped Messi with the goal and Assist he had against Mexico and Australia. 3. FIFA Forced Netherland to miss two penalties. 4. FIFA Helped Messi to give an unbelievable pass to Molina to score; and FIFA dribbled Gardiol and pass the ball to Alvarez to score. 5. FIFA Bribed Santos to bench Ronaldo and then tied Ronaldo legs against Morocco 6. FIFA scored the goal for Morocco against Portugal 7. FIFA TOLD Brazil to lose to Croatia Then in the final 8. FIFA told Dembele not to tackle Di Maria outside the box that he should wait till he gets into the box 9. FIFA told France to allow Argentina to score the second goal 10. FIFA forgot that Argentina bribed them and awarded two penalty to France 11. Fifa told Kolo Muani to place the ball on EMI Martinez left leg at the dying minute of extra time 12) Then FIFA told K.Coman to place his penalty kick on Martinez hands and told Tchouameni to miss his penalty 13) And to make it not obvious he told Argentina to lose to Saudia Arabia Ronaldo fans are the most confuse set of fans I have ever seen😂

I can say two things about Messi: 1. You can get close to him during the game but the ball stays always closer to him than the defenders or any one else. 2. He is a phenomenon, why? During the course of human civilization there have been few people who do not have seconds like Albert Einstein, Bach, Bethoven, Davinci and alike. Messi is just another. There will never be another. Both Pep and Zidane always point to Messis vision and understanding of the game. Those who truely understand the game understand that this is the foundation of everything else and not mechanical or physical abilities. It's hard to define what it is, it is hard to quantify it and it is hard to replicate or teach. Goals, trophies and statistics are all kind of a boring measure of a players greatness. The greatest players have qualities which can not be quantified. In some way he saw and played the game differently from everyone else. That's what make his game magical.
Greatest achievement of Ronaldo was getting compared with Leo, I know he scored many goals he is the top scorer indeed but that can be accomplished a good striker with good team can do it. But messi you can’t compare him he’s a team himself a winger a striker an attacking midfielder an defensive midfielder, playmaker, centre forward And this explains why its Ronaldo’s greatest achievement
One of the gift I am happy God gave me is the privilege to watch Messi play, so glad to witness this Messi era,if I was told a player was this great I wouldn't believe, but witnessing him is really a blessing, guardiola truly understands Messi better than anyone else, even on his bad day he's better than everyone else
I find what is hilarious is that so many people are bashing Messi's body language on the pitch when he isnt in possession saying that he is lazy, doesnt chase the ball after losing possession, doesnt pressure, etc. when Argentina failed to win World Cup. But after Messi won the World Cup with Argentina, social media was filled with videos of HOW GENIUS that Messi's playing style is! LMFAO. Even how he kept observing the movements, how he moved without possession is magnified, saying that it is a masterclass. Messi has always been playing like that under Guardiola. Those people really think a player who runs non-stop the whole game means the player is the best player on the pitch? Why would a coach want his best attacker to waste his energy tracking back and make tackles when he can have other players to do the job and give the ball to Messi to lead the counter attack? Those who call Messi lazy in the first place dont understand football. The most effective way to hit on counter is definitely to place your dangerous attacker at a position to receive the ball cleared out of defense so that he can choose to either hold possession or distribute fast for an attack. There is no need to have 10 outfield players running all over the place to get back a ball.

For his size, he's insanely strong and console games always fail in that department. His vision is ridiculously good. The explosive speed with sudden unpredictable turns.
Like I said, every single aspect of football, he's a grandmaster of it and he uses them all in every game. He doesn't need to score or assist to have a great game and that's basically a glitch like power for forwards.
He has a dribbling prime era, a goal scoring prime era and now a maestro playmaker era. Over 15 years of completing every aspect.
That's why the call him, the Unmarkable, The God of Football, alien, wizard, magician, not human, GOAT, something else entirely.
Think of all the pros, greats and legends who saw his era and the overwhelming majority of them says he's just the best.
Zinedine Zidane, David Beckham, Andrea Pirlo, Arsene Wenger, Ivan Gattuso, Gianluigi Buffon, Alex Ferguson, van Nistelrooy, Raùl Blanco, Frank Lampard, John Terry, José Mourinho, Rio Ferdinand, Fabio Capello, Roy Keane, Ryan Giggs, Chiellini, Karim Benzema, Robin van Persie, Dani Alves, Wesley Sneijder, Ashley Cole, Diego Simeone, Eric Cantona, Antonio Conte, Kobe Bryant, Peter Crouch, Joe Hart, Ronaldinho, Arjen Robben, Michael Owen, Cafu, Lewandowski, Maldini, Cavani, Alan Shearer, Marco van Basten, Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick, Manuel Neuer, Drogba, Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard, Samuel Eto'o, Diego Forlan, Figo, Maradonna, Dennis Bergkamp, Klopp, Cruyff, Pep, Xavi, Iniesta, Luis Enrique, Puyol, Macherano, Gerard Piqué, Hristo Stoichkov, Micheal Laudrup, Carlo Ancelotti, Fernando Torres, Victor Valdés, Van Bommel, Franck, Graeme Souness, Leroy Sané, Alphonso Davies, Ribéry, Rijkaard, Gullit, Declan Rice, Riyad Mahrez, Kevin de Bruyne, N'golo Kanté, Thiaggo Motta, Erik Lamela, Alessandro Nesta, Joe Cole, Marco Reus, Peter Drury, Angel di Maria, Van der Sar, Luis Suárez, Yaya Touré, Arturo Vidal, Alex Song, David Silva, Jérôme Boateng, Lahm, Deco, Gary Lineker, Diego Godín, Shevchenko, Carvalho, Pavel Nedvěd, James Milner, Rafa Nadal, Zambrotta, Cannavaro, Eric Abidal, Iker Casillas, Petr Čech, Thomas Müller, Josko Gvardiol, Thiago Silva, Eden Hazard, Mark Van Bommel, Van Dijk, David Villa, Ronaldo Nazário and even Zlatan Ibrahimović.
That's just some of them by the way.
So yeah, apotheosizing Leo at this point should be the norm.
Underrated attributes of Messi:
- When he decides to take the ball of you by pressing you, he WILL get it.
For example offside calls, tackles from behind,
- He sometimes receives the ball between 4-5 players and somehow finds the exact & only possible solution to get out and progress the ball.
Thank you, I want to write a book about him being underrated and I want to use this comment
Things I learnt from Ronaldo fans after the World Cup
1. FIFA helped Messi to win the World Cup with Penalties,
5. FIFA Bribed Santos to bench Ronaldo and then tied Ronaldo legs against Morocco
6. FIFA scored the goal for Morocco against Portugal
7. FIFA TOLD Brazil to lose to Croatia Then in the final
8. FIFA told Dembele not to tackle Di Maria outside the box that he should wait till he gets into the box
9. FIFA told France to allow Argentina to score the second goal
10. FIFA forgot that Argentina bribed them and awarded two penalty to France
11. Fifa told Kolo Muani to place the ball on
EMI Martinez left leg at the dying minute of extra time
12) Then FIFA told K.Coman to place his penalty kick on Martinez hands and told Tchouameni to miss his penalty
13) And to make it not obvious he told Argentina to lose to Saudia Arabia

Pep Guardiola understands football more than anyone else and he has complete ownership in having his opinion regarding Messi because he saw what he did every game, Pep, like everyone else, is a fan of good football, you don't need to be a Messi fan to admit that he is the best and greatest of all time.
Simple ❤
He is not better than cr7 though
I can say two things about Messi:
This man has had a very special love for the ball and the ball loves him only, they are not separable. That’s it.
bach and bethoven were almost at the same era doing the same thing hahahah and einstein was not the only brilliant mind in physics

Pep was under cruyff, barcelona 1992 dream team. Managed Barca, Bayern and City. He just saw the game ahead of everyone, he was always 3 seconds ahead like Zidane said. CR7 does things that break human barriers(he is like the best human), Messi does things otherworldly. It's hard to fathom even in a video game

He is obsessed with perfection, so him complimenting Messi the way he does makes sense.
true - Messi's worst season is the best for anyone else's...
he won the World Cup on his worst season
His first season at PSG was his worst yet
Somebody will easily be on the ballon dor list with as a midfieldsr
Both Pep and Zidane always point to Messis vision and understanding of the game. Those who truely understand the game understand that this is the foundation of everything else and not mechanical or physical abilities. It's hard to define what it is, it is hard to quantify it and it is hard to replicate or teach. Goals, trophies and statistics are all kind of a boring measure of a players greatness. The greatest players have qualities which can not be quantified. In some way he saw and played the game differently from everyone else. That's what make his game magical.
Zidane being an elite playmaker can really appreciate how much value Messi provides for his team.
Greatest achievement of Ronaldo was getting compared with Leo, I know he scored many goals he is the top scorer indeed but that can be accomplished a good striker with good team can do it.
But messi you can’t compare him he’s a team himself a winger a striker an attacking midfielder an defensive midfielder, playmaker, centre forward
And this explains why its Ronaldo’s greatest achievement
Football statistics that have measured Messi's movements without the ball found that he is an anomaly and light-years above everyone else.
Those numpties are waffling
The masterpiece creator of the game that gives pleasure and billion smiles with his playing
Guardiola is the greatest mind in the history of the sport. There’s a reason he’s obsessed with Messi, it’s because he is an alien.

Honestly, giving ballon d'or's to guys like Ronaldo is a crime. Haaland, Mbappé, Ronaldo are all amazing players, but they literally can't control a ball, have no vision of the game, participate 0 in the offensive scheme lol. How can you be named "best footbal player" if you can't even do the basics right? As soon as those guys don't score in a game they had a terrible game because it's the only thing they do, they are honestly horrendous in everything else.
