If you told me that MSG spent his entire life training just to give the world this one 22 minute rendition, this one piece of gem that is so bright and glowing that it outshines everything else, these notes interwoven so beautifully together that the end product is something more than music itself, something ethereal and divine, then I would believe you. This world, our lives, they all just seem smaller somehow, after listening to this.
Beautiful comment !
ShashNk, you said it. There is not another MSG and that pleasant smile on his face as he played! And he was so popular in the Hibdusthani. Music circuit as well.
This piece is so enjoyable ..
Well said sir !
Beautiful comment!
I came back to listen to this masterpiece and to read this comment ❤
Mastery defined. Will enthrall for generations ! 🙏🙏
🕉Sir MSGs divine clarity flows effortlessly in this "one of its kind" rendition that unconditionally immerses a listener deep into trance experience. Unparalleled, downright absolute introspective. Few years ago in Bengaluru, I had the privilege to drop Sir MSG and his daughter after a concert at Sri Rama Seva Mandali. 🙏🙏
Thank god. Thanks msg. I am really forgetting my pains n sorrows in this piece of musical magic. I remember the day I accompanied on pitch box shruthi pettiness in Mandya 5 decades ago. N msg has also acknowledged this many times whenever I met him. A vert great masters. Namaste. Baalu
Superb, Like a flowing river
Takes the listener to a different plane.... emotional and spiritual....
Salutes to Great Vidhwan Guru MSG sir.
How could someone dislike this....
Sri MSG was master of both Carnatic & Hindustani music! He has accompanied d Great Sri Bismillah Khan in Violin! His way of synchronising d Carnatic & Hindustani style especially in Raga Alapana & swaram renders his unique, attractive, pleasing etc.,
This composition requires more recognition than what it has. It is truly out of this world. Everyday I listen to it I find something new
Thanks to Shri M.S. Gopalakrishnan for helping the rasikas’ temporarily at least to set aside our vyakoolams (meaning worries) and enjoy the music. When there will be a break in our worries in one way or other ? Impossible. Repetition of the innumerable names of “Lord Sri Rama” will alone (at least temporarily) will make our hearts happy. I just make a feeble effort to air my sentiments. Thanks to Parur Sri M.S. Gopalakrishnan
Wow... this is indeed a very different take on Nalinikanthi! So refreshing to find such rarity. It sounds a lot like banarasi kajri in its exeuction style. Very nicely done! Almost like a Hindustani Khayal... Such beauty and creativity!
Stuff of #Legends ❤❤❤
No one can play this better than MSG
"manavi ālakinca rādaṭē" is the correct way to split the words.
meaning?
@@akashayyagari6167 "why don't you listen to my plea?"
Add to this his demeanor while playing the violin. The beatific smile on his face and the masterly handling of the violin. Oh! Heaven on earth 🙏🙏🙏
One of the greatest masterpieces I have heard. Pranams to the maestro
A slow and different rendition of Manavyalakinchara. Got out different aspects of the raga, especially in the last 10 minutes. Didn't know that Nalinakanthi could take this shade. Thanks!
Karthik Thiagarajan the last 10 mins is pure genius
TSBNARASARAJU
MSG'S RENDERING OF RAGA NALINAKANTA TAKES A LISTENER WITH ABILITY TO ENJOY MUSIC TO DIVINE HEIGHTS. CAN THERE BE A MORE MELODIOUS RENDERING THAN THIS BY ANY ONE? MAY THE SOUL OF THIS GREST MUSICIAN TAKE BIRTH AGAIN TO MAKE THE NECTAR OF MUSICAL MELODY FLOW IN ABUNDANCE FOR COMPETENT LISTENERS TO SUCK IN AN UNENDING FASHION!
Nothing other than a bliss...Medhaigal vazhndhu konde dan iruppargal....
This is my music discovery MSG so glad I stumbled upon this outstanding rendition.
Simply wow! Slow meandering Nalinakanti taking shades of Tilak Kamod at the end!!! Same kriti, same notes but the sound is so different!!! Hats off to MSG sir!!!
He uses the S,R,N,S sanchara - not usually used in Nalinakanti, which brings a distinctly tilak kamod phrase.
@@akhileshmagal Yes... but technically it is allowed in Nalinakanti! Just that our compositions don't have that phrase too much!
@@SDineshViolin Interesting. I always assumed that because the Aarohana is S G R M P N S , the S, R phrase is basically disallowed. But I see your point. Perhaps it is the avroahana that he uses. M, R, S? Still it may be a bit ambiguous know?
@@akhileshmagal you are right it's ambiguous... allowed technically because it's not SRS but SRN... what is not allowed is SRG
❤❤❤❤❤
