It is. This is what it wouldn't been like had Hollyweird been given full creative reign.
Apparently, Nintendo was closely involved and brooked no bullshit. The rumor is that the script initially was going to have the Mario Bros as bumbling schmucks who just happened to mesh with Peach's plans to thwart Bowser. Nintendo vetoed that and was prepared to walk away entirely if the script was not heavily rewritten to their explicit satisfaction. The film is, as it is supposedly, because Japan flatly refused to give Hollywood an inch over the ip.
I've been subscribed to flashgitz for so long that I can pretty much tell the "Surprise" or "twist." I knew at least one character was getting fake boobs and was pretty positive that mario eventually had to "please" the casting guy to get the part. Im not disappointed at all. You guys keep me laughing, and I regularly rewatch your content. Keep it up guys! I hope you expand further.
