- According to Mouser, it is a beautiful day for the Super Mario Kart tour final… and he’d be right. Mario, Luigi, Toad, Peach, Waluigi, Wario, Shy Guy, Bowser and Bowser Jr. have all turned up to grab the win in this ode to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe that’s dripping in glorious anime vibes!
This isn’t some friendly race around the circuit either. The Super Mario Bros aren’t here to play, and neither is anyone else. So, strap in for the hell of a ride that is lap 1 of Super Anime Kart.

They even have the characters and vehicles look like from Redline, like the Mario bros' hats are like the protagonists hair, Wario looks like the hotshot cyborg guy, Peach like the chick that has a car that can turn into a boat, etc.
Mario and Luigi being badass bros instead of severely unbalanced rivals is really cool to see, gives em a whole new personality than what you usually see in parodies

Watching this made me cry.
The way this was animated in "Redline" style was incredible.
Redline was one of the last movies my last best friend and I watched together and we used to have some serious Mario Kart wars.
This brought back wonderful memories.

This is phenomenal,I especially like how Mario and Luigi are working as a team. Instead of Luigi being his brother's punching-bag or the butt of his jokes. They're acting like how true brothers should treat one another
I mean I fight with my own brother but unless I'm really passed with him a day I'd rather him win a kart race than anyone else

They really gave Mouser a unique laugh, and it's just "chu" because sound of a mouse. Great attention to detail.

This channel never fails to amaze me at how good their animators are at using a drastically different style from the last.
The way the bullet bill peels off to reveal Bowser's original car is such a cool nod to Redline

The intense art style and the action-pack sequence of the Japanese MK 64 is exactly what reminds me with the parody.

Finally, a cartoon without the overused adult jokes, but instead incredible references to both Mario and anime. Like Wario's car being inspired by the Music Box from Wario Land 3 ot the Waluigi-Wiggler meta, I love whoever had these ideas. Also I like how Mouser makes weird noises, like some wacky anime side characters. And Bowser's voice slaps more than usual, it really stands out now!
In Japan, the noises that mouses makes are chu, also why pikachu's name is pikachu because pika is an onomatopoeia for flashing light and chu for noises that mouse make.

I felt the Redline inspiration coming a mile. Toad using the Mushroom like Gold Nitro just proved my theory. And Peach removing some of her vehicle for a second ride reminds me of Gori Rider and his vehicle.

Dude! THIS IS SO GOOD! you can turn any childhood game into an epic anime and I had no idea that the combination of Mario Kart and Redline would be so cool! I hope to see a version like this with Sonic and All Stars Racing, but the best part for me besides the art style are the designs and interactions, especially Mario and Luigi, look at them! Are you going to tell me that these guys don't have the most chad and stylish design ever? besides them cooperating like good brothers, that's what I want to see!
It’s great to see Luigi working with his brother as an equal instead of Mario hogging all the glory but in the end it doesn’t matter because Waluigi is going to be the winner.

@@simeonellinger2064 Well, they still showed his corpse at the end and unlike the others his ride is a Wiggler that can theoretically navigate and avoid dangers by itself. So it could be a case of his mount dragging him across the finish line and that counts as a win.
Not sure if he would make 1st place though.

Because it was made with love and care, not as fast as you can to get the dough simple really.
its only 6 minutes, they are under no obligation to release 12-24 episodes to compete with rival studios that want the same time slots

It's super interesting to see how the items would actually work and how they would affect the cars. In the games you just press a button and you see the item go but here it's very detailed, like the loading of the shells

reminds me of redline. supposedly the last hand drawn feature film from japan, back in the late 2000's. there probably have been more since but all the shadows and even peach shedding down to a motorcycle just scream homage to that movie. i love it, can't wait for the next part.
