    I purchased the Bellroy Travel Wallet a while ago from one of your videos. Used it again recently on a trip. It not only worked phenomenally, the pen helped me one one time and it also caught a lot of eyes! Thanks Maurice!!

    I use the Bellroy travel wallet too for exactly the reasons you mentioned. Using the MUJI passport Case the way you described is such a great idea :) Keep up the good work. Much appreciated.

    Have fun in Switzerland. Lived there for a year in my early 20s doing design work and it was a life changing experience to say the least. Try out some of their local wines as they don't really export them and most are kept domestic. Also if you can get into the mountains, the air is magical 😂

    When I renewed my US passport and chose the 50-page version, my standard passport case did not flap completely around the thicker passport. Glaser Designs will custom make a case to your specifications. For me that meant a business card size sleeve for my Global Entry card in front of a larger sleeve for my 5x2.5-inch note cards. It was not cheap but a beautiful leather addition to my business EDC.

    While I like the Bellroy wallet, the price is a little too steep for me. The slim pouch featured first is nice because of its organizational factor and option to NOT use it as a waist pack makes it versatile. I recently visited a muji store and saw the same passport case...I'm still on the fence about purchasing it since I have a case that's almost similar to it (just minus the binder rings).

    a useful companion for this is any coin purse with multiple pockets. useful for countries where coins are still in wide use, like jp or ph. (esp ph since there are two versions of 1,5, and 10 coins in criculation so you can't just feel the diff)

    • @yukiaedogawa
      @yukiaedogawa 8 месяцев назад +1

      I agree. While most people these days are leaning towards cashless transactions, there are still many instances/areas where coins are more frequently circulated.

    Do you ever carry a backup or decoy wallet? I'm not sure putting passport and cash together in one main wallet is the safest option. I often keep my passport in a separate place and cash in a separate place, and credit cards separate too. That way if one is stolen or lost there are backup options.

    Been eyeing the Bellroy travel wallet for years but it’s just a bit too expensive for me. I like the Muji one too but I feel like the binder rings are too bulky. If they can reduce the size it will be perfect.

  • @user-ix7iu4wf8o
    @user-ix7iu4wf8o 14 дней назад

    for starters you are right ... your recommendation is totally 180 degree off what I do/like/think.
    the very first thing is to ask yourself business or leisure cause in business you will only take the essentials and i mean bare essentials with the main focus on your laptop and/or your few sheets of proposal. Leisure however shifts the focus to you, this makes a vast difference in what you will carry ... a simple example would be that belroy crap in not a good choice for leisure travel likewise that muji nonsense bag is too much till it becomes a hassle for a business traveler.
    Lastly purely my opinion, a one bag traveler is also known as poor planning, poverty striken homeless traveler. dont you think about contigency plan ?
    One bag peep are the ones who always ask to loan stuffs and inconvenience others on a travel (hate those friends/colleague real pest!)
    a good basic traveler setup would be an 18-20" luggage with a backpack with your core items (money, gadgets etc)
    an ideal traveler setup would have 2 luggage (seperated equally all items in each bags) + a backpack with your core items (money, gadgets etc)
