    The mother tried to cover it up, he came home that night and she saw his bloody jeans and washed them for him and didn’t call the police. Unfortunately this is my hometown and when it happened it shocked the whole community. I watch your videos weekly and normally have no input other than it being a good video, but this case is different as it hits home for me. Then yeah, you don't deserve a second chance because you're a minor and should rot in jail.

      I always hate when, in fiction or in real life, people help their love ones to escape the consequences of their own actions. Like, if you love someone, you should hold them accountable for what they do, even the worst things. No friendship, love, sense of family or whatever should be stronger than the sense of justice and the compassion for the victim. And if a loved one guilts you because you aren't supportive enough, well, they are the bad one, not you.

    • @ChrisAndCats
      @ChrisAndCats 2 года назад +8

      Protecting a child (even an adult one) is one thing but helping them escape justice for something like this isn't protecting them. That's enabling at best and criminal to boot. Helping a child to face consequences when young when any things they did wrong are likely minor does a bigger favour in terms of teaching them the proper way of behaving and is helpful in later life.

I won't be able to look at my parents eyes if that happens I won't be thinking much about the prison punishment but I will probably think about the hell I'm going to, for the rest of my life. My family and I currently reside in Jacksonville FL, as I was medically retired from the Navy and we decided to stay here for a few more years . When this happened I was absolutely 😲 shocked and disgusted to see this poor young girl lose her life doing what over 20+ years ago I used to do the same thing, you can't even do regular teenage innocent things like sneak out and not have to worry about thinking to yourself "well maybe I shouldn't sneak out because I might be murdered!" I mean I'm so scared as so many things have changed since I was a teenager and the stuff that happens now is just a normal every day thing .... My God how sad, and I'm scared to see how it's going to be when my son's get to that age.... I'm so scared, I don't even want them to get any older because of tragedies like this... My heart goes out to her family, you lost a beautiful Angel 😇 my heart is prayers are with you every day that you have to wake up without your babygirl.... It hurts my heart ❤️ and please if you ever need anything please know you are more than welcome to lean on a disabled veteran wanting to lend a shoulder for everyone to lean on ..... Where to start? He thinks he's a nobody, yet murders another instead. Mom aides and abided. Hates women at such a young age. Parents give bad advice, violent tendencies, lack of empathy. With parents like this, no wonder he turned out like he did. Overb100 stab wounds is overkill. How can a child this young have do much anger and hostility?

      They are hostile, impatient, critical and self absorbed.
      The attitude in the police car is a perfect example of their mind set.
      Toss in horrible subhuman parents and it festers into hatred.
      With violent video games and graphic horror and sexual movies that parents do not sensor. It has fed into many young minds what it would be like to kill. This poor young girl was a perfect victim.
      And he took advantage.

    Aiden gets the Razzy award for "worst actor in prison"... Even a genuine mental case would not keep asking "what's going on" after a sentence with a statement. And looking around the room like that is also proof of bad acting, especially when you look around so damn quickly in a nonsensical way to pretend whatever is talking to you is moving about the area that erratically. Monster!...he will get a death sentence after all, only in the most gruesome of ways by the inmates who will use him to "wash their clothes and toss their moldy salad" if you get my meaning... Death is a very slow process when forced to suffer for a life time, especially while still a teenager with a long, long life ahead of that twit!

    Hi Adrian if you're reading this! I doubt I'm the first you've heard this from but it's worth mentioning that your mantra of identifying the cases by naming the victim as opposed to the perpetrator is more unique than it should be in true crime reporting. Naming it after the perpetrator is a slippery slope to glorifying their crime, and I get the distinct feeling that you're aware of that (maybe you've mentioned this in a video I have yet to watch). Anyway, keep up the good work, loving all your content so far

I’ve got a younger sibling their age even, so her story has been particularly painful. I appreciate your respectful handling. All around the main street there were different teal ribbons and other memorials for Tristyn, some still up now. The worst part is that the area schools did NOTHING in response. Not even a paltry attempt to incorporate some violence prevention efforts to address the attitudes towards women and girls that lead to preventable and senseless tragedies like this.
