3rd - Aunt Lou, can you do a video on how you find out if your crock pot cooks cool or hot? How do you figure that out?
OMG that yellow jacket! stingin' critters... that are attracted to sweet things. I kept hoping that it wouldn't accidentally get trapped and in your mouth while taking a bite! YIKES. Glad that didn't happen.

Yes, you can use frozen strawberries. We have done that in the winter before. As for if your crock pot cooks hot, cool or just right, you can figure this out by how long it takes to cook a recipe. For instance, if you have made Mississippi Chicken, and we have that it needs to cook on low for 4-5 hours, but yours is done in 3-4 hours, that means your crock pot cooks hot. If it takes closer to 5-6 hours, then your crock pot cooks a little cooler. It it is in the 4-5 hour range, it is closer to "normal". Another way to tell is if you try to bake something in your slow cooker and the edges burn while the middle is still doughy. That means the sides are getting so hot that it bakes and burns the edge before the center has time to cook through where a "normal" cooking slow cooker will cook at a temperature that gives the center time to cook up while the sides cook. I hope that makes sense. If not, ask me any questions, and I will clarify as best I can!

Is the pancake mix a complete mix? Or is it the kind that you have to add more ingredients to in order to make pancakes? Hope this makes sense thanks!!
