Made this today and works great! I spent hours messing around, (4 variations that failed) with your other flower farm trying to edit it to work for specific flowers. To give context I wanted to the farm under my base, not in a flower forest. Luckily just as I was about to give up hope found this and works great!
One thing you should fix, nothing with the farm it’s amazing but in the description it says 4 droppers and 1 dispenser which I think is supposed to be switched around to 4 dispensers and 1 dropper. Hopefully you see this and fix!
Thanks for the excellent advent calendar of tutorials! I designed a flower farm a few weeks back very similar to this, but now was able to make upgrades to it for even more efficiency! Notably the pistons pushing downwards, didn't even think of that. Looking forward to the rest of the calendar!

It still works! One thing I did change was I put 16 items in the clock below and left in the line and repeaters he told you aren't needed. I also had issues with one side of pistons locking but found I had put a bit of redstone on the observer to the rear by accident.
THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED! I tried so hard to make one, but was getting horrible rates and I didn’t even think to use pistons on the strip of grass I couldn’t move! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Just letting people know that this farm doesnt work anymore. Well it does but the bone meal you get doesnt self power the farm , youll lose bone meal. I even made the farm better by making the pistons that face downwards, get delayed so flowers can actually grow there. Despite that its still too slow.
Now I’m wondering why I bothered making that other flower farm in the flower forest. On the bright side I know where a convenient flower forest is to find any flowers I’m missing. I’ve been building farms by my iron farm to get more iron so here’s a new one to go in that area.
Great farm silent! Made a design simalair to this myself a while back for specific flowers but can only grow up to 8 flowers per bone meal. Was also wondering whether you are going to do a wither skeleton farm soon? Keep up the good work!
I composted most but not all of the output, then used droppers and water streams to run the bonemeal back into the input line. It gets a higher ratio of flower output to bonemeal input but still has great rates. It's nice for someone (like me) who gets all of his bonemeal from composting farm waste because I don't want to build a bonemeal farm.
At 13:47 how is that possible how dose that redstone line stay powered once u put the block over top of it mine dosent someone please help. I spent 5 hours last night in a creative world tryn to figure out what wrong with it rebuild it so many times I can do it without watching the video but still can’t seem to figure out the problem
At 12;42 you go back under the farm, and the block under the grass block you plant on has been moved back one. it wasnt noted anywhere i noticed. unless i missed it when i was building. i was very confused lol. Ive done a lot of your tutorials, and these things dont normally happen. just thought youd want to know,..
I build my own flower farm that is very similar to the 2nd farm, but I didn't need 87k flowers an hour so I didn't bother with a collection system or bonemeal feeder. I pop in a flower, 8 bonemeal, and 8 ticks later I have around 90 flowers. More then enough for my humble needs :D It uses a vortex pusher to shift the floor, rather then the side-to-side one you use.
Very nice :D Yea no matter how you make these, they are gonna turn out relatively the same. All about the features you include, rates, and how fast you can get the timings really:)
Tested on 1.19. 4 stacks of bone meal in, less than 4 stacks out (about 30 short). Flower farm, yes (quirky to start it). Bone meal, not so much. In general, it seems composting is lower in 1.19. The crimson nylium version also fails to produce more than used.
This thing is insane! I ran it for less then 5 mins and got around 30 stacks of flowers! Holy I don’t need to run it ever again lol. Well worth the materials
Thanks for this design. I needed 16 stacks of cornflower for a project and my brother and I spent an hour trying to get them and only got 3 stacks and I built this thing and got a shulker box full in 2 minutes
You saved me of making multiple farm in flower forest .... Last world I made 5 different farms ... One in swamp one dark oak forest and three in forest
I think the newest ypdate may have broken the redstone. I had it working a week ago and then a creeper blew it up and when I rebuilt it redstone wont power through blocks the same like in the swcond dispensers and also the "janky" line into the clock.
I'm currently needing this many flowers as I'm making map art on my realm and need thousands of coloured wools etc. Annoyingly I'm making this farm next to my mapping area, which is miles from my base, and I got all the items needed before coming here, only to find I need at least four dispensers, not just the one dispenser mentioned in the list of items needed :(
@@akshattiwari9633 I have a wool farm, but it's more efficient for me to just farm white wool and dye it when needed rather than having all the different wool colours on sheep. That way I need much fewer actual sheep to get the thousands of coloured wools I need for my maps. I've currently got enough white wool to cover a 128x128 map three times over, plus enough black, red and light blue to cover it once. That's 16,384 blocks of each colour and more than 49,000 white wool!
If anyone is having problems with the Water dispensing when the Pistons are moving and not when they aren't, turn the machine off with your Lever, take the Buckets out of the Dispensers and pick up the Water manually, place the Buckets back in each Dispenser and turn back on the machine, it should work fine from there. I had this problem with mine and I couldn't find a fix for it anywhere in the comments, so I hope this helps :). This is another way to fix the Water if the original Redstone Torch method doesn't work from the video.
Hey, i don't really care for the bonemeal, but does it still work in 1.19 to get flowers ? Also, is it usable on a mooshroom island using mycelium ? Love your tutos :D
if you want to make this non stop bonemeel farm, you could make a redstone clock, the first half will go into a chest the second will go into the system again
Idk if anyone is having a similar issue, but the dispensers sometimes get messed up and dispense at wrong time and are backwords, so I’m left with half the dispensers dispensing water when they are supposed to have sucked it up.
If you use the pistons below the grass and push the grass up and down, you won't need to worry about the grass turning to dirt... though I'm not sure it would work as fast
I found this while trying to make a small flower farm. The problem I'm having is that even with minimal water flushing some of the grass turns into dirt. I'm not positive but I think that may affect this also.

That, that is the end of the making of the farm, and there was a HUGE mistake within the video, which completely breaks the farm and causes a mistiming in the water dispensers, and he only mentions that at the very last 30s of the video. I watched it until it was "supposedly finished" and ended up making the farm 3 times until noticing this.
One alternative could be to set up 1 output chest and all the rest go into composters. This lets you break even on bone meal, while getting a few flowers for your use. Do you really need more than 1 chest of flowers anyways?

Hi silent, new fan here. You have inspired me to try redstone on bedrock after YEARS of survival minecraft and being afraid of it. This is only the second contraption I've made. I know this video is almost a year old now, but it appears to still be working in 1.18!! Question though: I got it up working fine, removed the one torch and replaced it as stated.. but it seems like everytime I turn it off, the water stays flowing - the dispensers don't refire to pick it up. Any suggestions? I figure I must have a piece of redstone out of place that's not tripping. I've rewatched your video many many times and I think it might be the "really janky line"?! Also, you should only have to break and replace the redstone torch the first time, correct?

The redstone doesn't work in 1.20, tried to troubleshoot and even find different ways but the flush system doesn't work

Still works in 1.21 , dont run it for a long while or all your chests will overflow , this farm is OP 😂❤

Just made this on survival experimental and it works fantastically. 2nd farm ive made from you and the other one is almost too good.
Add a repeater on top of the block placed at 13:17. This fixes the water dispensers. No need to replace that redstone torch.

you put some bonemeal in the farm and get like 20% percent more out of it, the bonemeal exchange basically
