I was on jury service when the phillpot trial was on I was dreading it if I was put on. It was so heartbreaking what they did to them poor kids. Big kiss to Stevie

Birds of a feather flock together not wanting to insult birds which I love. I too could lose my integrity with those two. I don't go to pubs not since my younger days, but they are the type of scumbags you see with big mouths boasting about themselves only to go home and beat up the wife and terrorize the children. Slime balls useless to the human race not fit to breath the same air as we do. On a positive note Stevie is a lovely compliment to you. I did cat rescue for over 30years and now have 3 Chow chows and have been through an assortment of names with animals. I love it when they have a regular human name like your dog. Much respect to you for what you have had to stomach in your Job. God bless you.

i was a officer at birmingham crown court for 21 years i worked for geoamey i met philpot and mousley they came in with cat a officers for a plea and directions hearing i was in court with them as the dock officer
For those who are interested.., the house was 18 Victory Road Derby, 18 and 20 have been demolished and its now 1-5 Maple Tree Court Derby.
How very sad, but definitely should get rid of these places, cheers

I believe there comes a time at least once in everyone's life, when they encounter someone who for no apparent reason immediately make the hairs on the back of their neck stand up. Mick Philpott is that type of someone.
No matter how good you are at maintaining a professional attitude, it must be horrible to have to encounter these people. You've done well mate.

On the day it was announced on the news what happened ive never seen my dad look so disgusted, he and his older brothers was friends with Mosely as teenagers and my aunt was friends with philpots sister. They all lost contact with them but found out that another lad that mosley and they hung out with got sent down for befriending an old boy and killing him for his money, so really mosely and philpott ain’t that shy with other murderers.

Philpott put two fingers up to the world. He was allowed to live on benefits, and will no doubt get them when he is let out. Please look at the arrogant exchange in the documentary done by Ann Widecommbe.
The whole of Derby was shocked it was bad enough that he was such an embarrassment, and this was traumatic. The only thing you can think is that at least those children don't have to live knowing their father thought so little of them that he was prepared to kill them for a bigger council house so he could his wife and mistress in the same building.

The UK should have the USA sentence of... jailed for life without the possibility of parole.. for multiple killers.
both accomplices were released at their mid point, the wife was given a new identity and disappeared (sort of), Mosely was recalled 10 months after his release (not many details about why).
Very strange set up from what I remember reading about them. Weren't they involved in some sordid love triangle of some kind? Such a tragedy for those kids. May they rest in peace. 💖

Really great vlog as always very sensitive look into a very tragic subject thinkfound this Really as I've said before think the uk justice system needs to look at how Other countrys deal with individuals who commit such awful crimes and adopt a similar system the sentences need to reflect the serious nature of the crimes this guy has left a massive void in his victims familes world that will never be filled should be given the appropriate punishment My heartfelt condolences to everyone affected by this awful crime thank-you for shining light on issues like this keep up great work I' Really admire the work you do looking forward to all your upcoming content take care of yourself best regards to your family

Love your vids Sam!, keep up the good work! I used to work at HMP Leeds as an Education Officer many years ago. Difficult job at times but I had lots of good, rewarding, days- not as tough as your old job though - but what are your views on prison education?

Sam talks of officers who were bad for the job,i would be interested in his opinion on detention centre staff, in the 80's when i was in one they were beyond brutal to us,i was 15,does that make them worse than the adult jails?
I remember, always take us off health care like 20 prisoners, Sam do you remember chopper kid cut own ear off trying get sectioned off 😂
I remember being in block in strangeways on dp and officers threatening shields and flooding whole wing
Now confess on first remand and lead radio disappeared so wired it up and blew electricity wing and football on omg😂

@@RealPorridgePodcast Happened in Chingford. Someone poured petrol through the letter box. Only one survivor. The grandfather. The Grandmother, Mother, son and his 3 kids and his Girlfriend all died. My friend who was the fathe rof the 3 babies when found ... Was cuddling his kids and they were all melded together as one. :(
