    Capital punishment is the only way to deal with these ones IMO Sam, because while they get away with a custodial sentence, it's a horrible sentence that such as yourself and your fellow prison officers have to endure while he was your responsibility.

    Another hard hitting thought provoking video. So often people overlook the devastating impact people like Bridger have, not just on the families of victims..but on whole communities and o poor wools who have to deal with them on a day to day basis. I remember Lord Longford campaigning for years to have Myra Hindley paroled. I even remember him going on a live chat show with a studio audience and the parents of Lesley Ann Downey to give his thoughts and reasons why she should be freed. I can never understand how people like him think. How can they sleep at night knowing they are supporting someone who has done such terrible things and caused so much suffering and grief? If they want to do good..then why not show the same support to the victims families? Thank you for the video and say hi to the main man…..Stephen. ✊

    • @vermilliongecko
      @vermilliongecko 14 дней назад

      @@MrValentyne Lord Longford was manipulated by Hindley the same way that Bridger manipulates screws and other prisoners. It's part of the predator skill set. They can be very plausible and superficially charming, and can easily convince people of their innocence or remorse. When Hindley confessed to her involvement in the murders of two further children, Longford dropped her and was never heard of again.

    Hi Sam, people forget that prison officers are human beings too!. Human beings with families and feelings and emotions like the rest of us!. Sam, I can't even begin to imagine what it felt like having to see individuals like him on a daily basis. I simply could not do the job of a prison officer. I believe that we all owe a huge debt of gratitude to our prison officers. I wouldn't last a week doing that job and having to interact with individuals like him. I would either leave the job through mental stress or I would lose my cool and attack him and be dismissed from the job, whichever one came first. Anyway thankfully Sam you won't have to see or interact with him ever again!. Thanks for your vid. John. RIP April. 😢

    There does seem to be something in our culture that for a certain type of person they worship these heinous people and get taken in

    You'd put an Incurable rabid dog to sleep so I'm unsure why Incurables like Bridger are kept alive?

    My friends father in law is from Wakefield and as been a serving officer at Wakefield for 40 years plus and has seen all of the horrible humans you can imagine but wont speak about it until he leaves. I also know his daughter is encouraging him to write a book after he retires .all i will say his names john m. I also remember rob maudsleys brother named kevin as he was a good friend of my stepdads and would come for coffee on a weekend back in the 90s when people was more social and before mobile phones . Sadly coming from Bradford we have our fair share of ruthless killers and some i have seen grow from decent young lads into stone cold murderers once they got to adulthood and are now serving life sentances . Prison does work for some as im a ex offender myself and after 7 stints in northallerton doncaster and armley i met my now wife and changed my life for my children for almost 20 years but for people who kill premeditated they eill never reform and need the death sentence
