Brilliant flight Dan! Starting with such a low save, I could hear the kids in the primary school playing! Also, to have to cross-wind to stay on track. Congratulations! Strange that nobody else was on the Beacon on what turned out to be such a good day - I was away on holiday otherwise I would have been there as well.

Thanks Richard, I was surprised how much I sank at the start there. In hindsight I guess the sink was caused by the thermal. I imagine everyone headed to Pinnacle Hill because it was fairly windy and Pinnacle is lower; there were plenty of good flights from there. I walk to the Beacon because it's closer to my house.
