Thanks Chuck Edwall for the quality photography I sometimes throw in the video! He flew the whole trip with a full size camera and nice lens 🤯. That's extra weight, less space, and something expensive to break. Way to go!
How this doesn’t have a larger audience I’ll never understand! Can’t wait to try paramotor myself! Paint me inspired! Great visuals wish I was with you guys I would feel so free ❤
I don't know why, but just casually landing at gas stations in a paramotor to fuel up and then just running into the sky in a nearby field, it just has this sort of childlike mischief to it despite being totally legit. I definitely want to try paramotor flying now...
Love this adventure! Your flight track shows you flying right over my house/LZ on the final leg near Kalispell. Excited to see the next episode!! Fantastic filming and narrations 🪂❤️
These shots were SPECTACULAR; worthy of National Geographic footage and documentary material. PROBLEM though; we still have lots of popcorn left as you urge us to prepare beforehand so ya'll will just have to continue on to Alaska!
That's super fucking rad seeing you guys flying in my neighborhood, I've been to that airport many times with my kid but never got to fly out of there. Long time ago before my instructor left the state we were going to try launching from that airport but my instructor at the time felt like the older dudes there were running us out so we never got to fly from there...... that was back in 2019, then my instructor left the state and I haven't got to fly yet😢 I did the stupid thing and bought all the equipment from them and it's just been sitting in my garage. Would have been super cool to meet up with you guys just to shoot the shit! Been enjoying your videos for some time now, it was nice seeing one from my neck of the woods!
Hell yeah I'm glad I caught this video about an hour after I got off work! Really enjoying watching you guys live your life. I hope you have the opportunity to do more Great adventures like this!
I'm so enjoying this series! It has been really awesome to see so much of the country and Thanks to all three of you for making it so enjoyable. I can't wait to try something equivalent myself next year, but watching the struggles you had taking off there, I'm definitely seeing the advantages of a trike for this sort of long-distance adventure ;) Looking forward to the final part!
This was beautiful scenery, but that’s a little chilly. You guys are doing great. Enjoy your fun and your life. You don’t get too many chances doing what you’re doing. Great jobs.💜🦋
Incredible, fella’s! This has been one of my favourite paramotor adventure series to follow, some serious tenacity and skills here! Well done you’re inspiring 💪🏽🪂😊
Thanks for sharing. This series has been incredible so far. I make sure I watch these episodes with undivided attention they are so good! Blue skies man!
Doing this whole trip because you wanted to, not because you needed to is so cool. Not sure how you follow this up, but it's been a great watch man. Should turn all this footage into a movie you can watch in one sitting, with some commentary from everyone, I'd watch the shit outta that
I really enjoyed watching those. Something I have lusted after for quite a few years, but not sure my apprehension of heights would suit me taking up the sport. 😂. I was getting a little nervous just watching the film. 😁. You are so lucky to have such large expanses of ground to cover. Here in Scotland you can only ever be a maximum of 57 miles from the sea at any point. So as you can imagine, the weather changes pretty much constantly. Great watch, we all need more though, you have got us all addicted. 👍🏼👍🏼
Mate this series has been absolutely fantastic. Stunning views, great shots, engaging edit, and such a cool journey you guys got to do! I will absolutely be looking to experience this in the future. Keep up the great work!
Great video. Beautiful area for sure. Darby area is so neat. Been there several times. Wait till you get to Flathead Lake, really pretty. What a great trip you guys are on. Come over to beautiful Joseph, Oregon and fly sometime. The valley and mountains are fabulous. Thanks for sharing.
Very challenging area to fly and you guys are doing great!!! I have driven through all the spots in this video many times travelling from Canada to Vegas, racing in Phoenix and general road trips. Can’t wait to see where the rest of the journey leads. I hope in Bonners Ferry Idaho as I spent some time there bc of a girl I was dating there AND because I have spent a lot of time flying in Creston just across the border there. Thanks Mark!!✌️🇨🇦
Thanks for taking us on this journey, Mark. The videos and descriptions have been excellent. I took a lot of that north journey on motorcycle, so this altitude perspective has been epic!! Careful! Looking for the last leg!
Welcome to my neighborhood, Hamilton / Stevensville/Missoula. That sucks you had such weather. It can be spotty in the spring... And in the summer, fall too, and winter. Morning, afternoon, evenings...
Oh man, I was hoping you would make it up to eureka in this one. Can’t wait for the next one. It is indeed cold up here. We had a week with lows in the -40s in January. The wind chill was in the -60s. Granted I’m up in the mountains, but it was painfully cold. So luckily you didn’t attempt the flight then haha.
This is an amazing video, and what an adventure. For now, anyways, I will have to live vicariously through your experiences, I'll get there, it just takes time. 21 degrees, wtf!!! Keep up the good work my friend, Really hoping to fly with you in the near future, if not this season, maybe next season, when I'm more seasoned. take care, be safe.
What a great adventure, and really nice edit, good job Mark. I'd have been scared sh.tless about rotor flying around those peaks at the start, but I guess you were totally confident there was no wind. Didn't like the look of the landing options in Montana in the snowy parts in the event of an engine out 😳. Question is, what next ? 😮. Ps. I wish you guys could get into Centigrade temperatures, 25 degs is positively warm. 😅
Darby, Mt is where Yellowstone is filmed. The Chief Joseph ranch, which doubles as the Dutton ranch, is on the outskirts of town off of HWY 93. A few miles south of town. Beautiful countryside.
On a 1600 mile Pterodactyl ultralight solo XC back in '83, I landed in West Yellowstone MT on July 3 rd. When I woke up in my pup tent the next morning, there was 3 " of snow! Challis? That's my neck of the woods..., I have places above 8K I nowadays land my LSA plane at and camp out. Lost Trail crossing coming up! Much respect for doing this unsupported by a ground crew, like real pilots! Buying Avgas sucks, leaded, and expensive. I fly with a folding Montague e bike and folding trailer, I can 13 gallons of mogas that way, as getting gas is always a big hassle, and i haven't burned any Avgas in over 15 years, flying about 200 hours a year. I had no idea foot launched paragliders had that good of performance, great!
I ride motorcycles hyway and adventure i love this adventure you made there is a saying live life and do things that scare you i dont like flying but i would try one of these flying machines!!! Very cool
Hey @MarkHuneycutt can you please show in a video on how to mount that feet/leg holder from APCO? I Finally got it but never got around to fixing it to my Dudek Comfort harness. I would appreciate your help, as there is no guide on it online and you are the only person I saw who uses this
Mark I thought you might like this video youtube pretty fascinating paraglider discovery at the pyramid of Giza neat footage I do believe you'd stick the landing though it be tight & have to be no wind situation then how to get down from top. But pretty awesome images/video.
Know Polson well.....have friends who live there. That's a neat little airport right there at the south end of Flathead Lake. I've seen paramotors coming in and out of there a few times.
great editing, nice choice of music and well put together, what a great adventure, amazing way to see the Earth, close up and slow and no traffic. What time of year was this, how long ago? Oh okay I see from your website, April 10th. Did you see the imaginary lines separating "Canada" and the "USA"?
Absolutely excellent adventure flying! Beautiful country and lovely people everywhere! I’ve been searching for where you mention or write the wing size you went with, couldn’t find it! Do you mind sharing your wing size? Cheers!!
Appreciate the altitude information Montana has the coldest weather of all the states. Disconcerting random loss of power to your paramotor is this your first time flying in snow? Sounds weird but pee tube much necessary where did you find it? I know medical hospital brand are WAY TOO Adhesive . Nuff said it's things like this that make long flight do-able. What kind of fuel are you running in your 2 cycle mix? Ie high octane or even Avegas
I've flown and launched in snow. Got the pee tube on amazon from a pee tube/bag combo. Running high octane pump gas with ethanol or avgas when landing at airports
@MarkHuneycutt cool yeah as one would say a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, far be it from me to stand in his way while he's doing it. . . What a great adventure Mark I love it pretty great timing it's amazing as you get up to Idaho & into Montana how beautiful it gets. May angels look out for you as you fly. Could you imagine if you were way back in Kittyhawk if Orvile and Wilbur were to meet you up in the air strapped into your paramotor on one of their early flights to look over & see you circling that motor powered glider of their's I'd love to hear that conversation afterwards, what the hay? What's that it's a man but he's flying a, uh oh uh it's a motor tied to a back pack sort of boy is it fast look up in the sky it a man no it's a bird he's super , man.
I always wanted to see Idaho and Montana, thanks for the epic camera footage. I am wondering how many hrs you have logged on paramotors to date? How dose someone get into the sport without crashing while taking off for the first time.
Could you use a boosted board or some small battery powered skates to help launch when you are on pavement? Instead of running with all that gear! And could you send this to The Vegas Dome people. I think they should play this series and sell tickets and when the people walk out side you guys could be flying above and news crews would be there and then you could land and announce you now have enough money to do a Seattle to Adak Alaska trip. Lol
Can't use a boosted board, they went out of business a while ago 😜. Crazy how a company that defined the market could go out of business like that, I had been looking into purchasing one and then was confused why I couldn't find them for sale. Really I wanted one of their scooters since they sounded like some of the better built ones ever made.
Hi I love you content can you recommend me something I'm in Europa and I really want to fly with paramotor and paragliner but I'm only 12 years old or can someone recommend be cuse I really want to learn how to fly and so like whan I got my parglider so I can just take it and fly. And from what age can I fly do I need a license or something like that? P
Thanks Chuck Edwall for the quality photography I sometimes throw in the video! He flew the whole trip with a full size camera and nice lens 🤯. That's extra weight, less space, and something expensive to break. Way to go!
Thanks for including them Mark. Your videos are just such top notch stuff. I’m saving every single one for my forever-keeping on my HDDs!

I love this series. Those high altitude launches with the heavy gear are especially impressive.

Beautiful series of excellent cinematic and adventure storytelling .
Kudos to you guys for having the most interesting Paramotor channel on RUclips.
mad respect for your piloting skills. Many people can fly a paramotor, few would attempt this cross country on one.
Mark awesome video. Incredible scenery and it probably doesn’t look half as good as if you were there! 👍👍
