It's amazing isn't it? Had that experience once before, on New Years Eve, close to midnight. Nobody was in line for the ride, and I decided to give my mom and dad some alone time. Had the entire mansion to myself, it's so much louder when there's not 50 people talking over the sounds and the ghost host. x3; The CMs did stop the ride momentarily at the stroke of midnight to sing "Auld Lang Syne" to me, and I found that really great. xD

This is probably the best version of the HM I've seen in a long time. The camera isn't over-amplifying the light and the true creepiness comes through, no scrims in site. As always, wonderful work.
Was able to ride POTC alone in 1980. Back then they let you in Main Street, roped off the end at the hub, once open i ran as fast as i could to get on it before anyone else. I was so into Disneyland back then. It was great, but people make it better, just not too many people.

I absolutely loved this ride when I went on it for the first time this year with a friend of mine. The ghost mirrors weren't working if they were I would've been more excited at the end but they weren't that time I was looking forward to them the whole ride. It stopped momentarily a bit before the end but great ride all together! The ball room and The Hat box ghost were my favorite parts.

Well, at the moment we got into the stretching room the ghost host began speaking, and bro, I got so frightened with all that enviroment (the paints, the voice, the hanging body) that I could even UNDERSTAND EVERYTHING what dude was saying... And let me tell y'all: I am brazilian and at the age of 10 the only thing I knew was "sorry no english". I remember vividly of him saying "There's no turning back", "Is this your imagination?" and "There's always my way", but all those got stuck in my mind like it was said in portuguese, not in English... Well, till today I feel extremely guilty for ruining my mom's childhood dream, and my main objective rn is to make enough money to take her there again and fulfill this wish. At the time 1 U$D was only worth 2,30 BRL, but nowadays each dollar costs 5,41 BRL... It's one of those things that won't let me sleep properly at night. I got to do this totally alone when I was a Cast Member, it was so much creepier all by yourself lol. Loved it.

I went in June 2021, COVID protocols were still in effect... so no bunching together in the Stretching Room. I got my own seat on the ride though. 🙂

The problem is you can never see the singing busts, it goes too fast and there hidden.
