Had to do some trimming in the video so it will be in 1080p for the next hour or so. However, I will be putting out a comparison video sometime this week on the ride so stay tuned for that!
3:11 It's funny that Disney raised the crocodile out of the water a bit more and put a spotlight on it so people can see it. It's a duplicate crocodile made from molds done for Jungle Cruise...the only problem is that in the Louisiana bayous they have Alligators, not crocodiles. But I don't suspect many people would know the difference.
I like that there is more spotlighting in this refurb. Really cool stuff! In fact, for the longest time I kinda wondered if there was a Gator in this scene for years! Turns out there was! I wasn't sure if the dark shape in the water was a tree or a gator!
Still awesome, but I wish they didn’t make Jack the focus of the story. He should be a fun little Easter egg for riders to spot, and a nice surprise at the end for anyone who didn’t see him earlier, not the main point. They should cut out the audio talking about him and just have the pirates seeking the treasure like they did in the pre-movie ride, only for it to turn out that Jack beat them to it when they didn’t even know he was there!
Ok I'm begrudgingly used to people screaming bloody murder on Haunted Mansion, but really? Screaming like you're being murdered in the caves on Pirates? That's just being a jerk. Also, did they finally fix the problem with the boats constantly bumping into each other? Or did you just go super early in the day before a backup started?
This attraction is awesome. I miss Disneyland so much and so do my parents. Back in Spring 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic hit and my dad took this opportunity to give Disney a buzz on our house phone regarding getting a refund on behalf of being an Annual Passholder. Can you believe that he was on hold for a long time, Kris? From 2020-2024, we'll NOT return to that theme park at all no matter how expensive it is.
So now that they had refurbished this ride, can anyone tell me what changed and what is still the same inside? I kinda noticed a few differences but I can't seem to figure them out?
I used to like this ride. A few months ago I went on the ride, I'm disabled. Had to ride the buggy and have help getting on the boat. When the ride was over I couldn't get out of the boat. My legs wouldn't lift up I tried no one helped me after I tried again my leg slammed down on the boat hard. My leg is still sore.will never ride it again
We just got back from Disneyland a few days ago and I regrettably chickened out on this ride and felt horrible about it. I have anxiety and sensory issues and I just remembered being forced on it as a kid and that it was too loud and dark and the drop scares me then. Still too loud and dark when we got in and I got nervous. I hope I can work up the nerve to try again sometime soon it’s a great ride
It's definitely worth it, was scared to go on the incredicoaster for years and years, then went on it 5 minutes before closing on the last day of the trip. Was amazing.
Wait now that I see it compared to old videos, the crocodile was still there, but it was submerged in water more. You could barely see the top of its head.
Of course! the two begin at 4:50. It's a necessary component of the attraction in order to get you into the show building beyond the Disneyland berm/ rail road, it won't be going away any time soon :)
@Adam Martinez At 3:11 they raised the crocodile up, so it’s more visible. Also, in the ship-battle scene, they got rid of the “The Medallion Calls” music. Disney also fixed up the lighting and some audio bits.
Working on a video about it, there are a lot of minor changes like the removal/replacement of props and lighting changes. Nothing really major outside of refurbishment

Thank you for putting chapters back in videos!
Can smell the sea salt water in the ride 😍😍gosh I miss pirates welcome back
Such a iconic ✨️ ride and a favorite for all. Also great to see you Captain Jack!
Why were people lying or worried he would leave? Does not make sense
Jack was saved!! 🙌🏼👏🏼
He was never going to be removed 🙄
Because he wasn’t removed from pirates 6? Disney fired him before any evidence was found
@@rexrabbiteer and there is no correlation between the two
And now you have chicken's
Ever since when pirates get chickens?
We wants the redhead!! We miss the redhead!!

Alex with the details! 👍👍👍👍
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed that
I was today years old when I realized there was a crocodile there. Makes me wish we were going to Disneyland instead of Disneyworld next month lmao
Who cares….
The effects sounds etc wouldn’t change anything love the entire thing ride effects
I've been looking for an updated pirates video thanks❤
Best quality vid out there! 🔥
Looks really well lit and vivid and clean.
Is it just a Great quality video ?

Love the lighting.
Great POV! Kind of sad how Disney had to get rid of the trees but its still a good ride
They had to as the trees had a disease and were rotting, but Disney has planted brand new trees in their place so don't worry
@@1ROCKET-I did not knew the fig trees were rotting. I wish they replace the same trees. :(
@@BleuSaphir who cares? there are trees in the same spot, why do you care what type of tree it is? a tree is a tree
@@1ROCKET- Magnolia trees sucks for shade. 🙄🙄🙄
@@BleuSaphir nah bro they shade the area just as fine as before
They really need to bring back the projection of Davey Jones towards the end of the ride
Yeah I agree
Ok I thought I was losing my mind cause I remembered a projection of Davy Jones on this ride before going down a dark drop😂
Wow picture is more clearer than the other RUclipsrs videos

What kind of camera did you use? I’m planning a trip for next year and I want to make sure to get great quality like this.
The original, the best, updated since my first ride in 1972 at age eight, but still spectacular.
2022 New Pirates of the caribbean disneyland parks california
55 years later and still a classic, with or without Capt. Jack Sparrow.
wait. is there no jack Sparrow anymore?
@@steffongames there still is I went last month

That’s a long time for being on hold, at least they didn’t forget about him lol
Yeah Disneyland refused to give refunds. Pos greedy bastards. During the outbreak you saw the pettiness of Disneyland.
pirates Disneyland much better than disneyworld

The medallion calls music is now missing.
What kind of camera do you use?
Is that a new pirate logo at 5:46 in the small cave?
No, that’s always been there. But I think they brightened the projection so it’s easier to see
@@KidzRuleStudios oh wow! Don’t remember seeing it. Looks great! Thanks for the info
If you don’t mind me asking what did you use to film this?
This was filmed with an a7siii
@@LMGVids thank you. What lens were you using and are you using a external mic?
Is it a lot more blue than it used to be or is that the way it was filmed?
The lighting has been massively overhauled. Here is a before and after video of Pirates of the Caribbean.

I wish you could've gotten a view of the control room up the stairs. Sometimes I think the technical side is more interesting than the ride itself.
Obviously you aren't allowed to go up there, and you can't really see anything from just peeking in
Was that crocodile at 3:14 always there??
Yeah
Wait now that I see it compared to old videos, the crocodile was still there, but it was submerged in water more. You could barely see the top of its head.
I heard the one at the beginning of the ride wasn't I think that was new
I take offence to Disney treating Chickens this way!
How can people wear beanies in the heat!?
13:25 the sound stopped working
Don't recall the pirate ship sinking before.
So now it opened
Nope, he snuck on the ride with a thousand others. Ask stupid questions ya get stupid prizes
2022
you didn't look around enough for me- u stayed mostly looking to your left- I only saw Jack twice.
J. D. Where is 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Did they just lighted the Bayou scene in the beginiing? It looks horible and fake. You can see it's a building now..WTF.
Do they still have the drop?
Of course! the two begin at 4:50. It's a necessary component of the attraction in order to get you into the show building beyond the Disneyland berm/ rail road, it won't be going away any time soon :)
Nope. Just 2 hills up. They re- tracked the ride to go up towards Tarzan treehouse now🤣😂
Imagine being trapped in there during an earthquake 😮😰😱
It’s so weird to hear ‘different’ music in the ship battle scene. I wonder why they made the change. The music definitely sounded better imo
No fog!!🤔
I'd read that they have a real problem with people sneaking in ashes of cremation people and dumping them in the water, as there final resting place.
bet there's an amber heard reference somewhere in there
What was changed?
Nothing really, just a refurbishment to keep the ride fresh!
@Adam Martinez At 3:11 they raised the crocodile up, so it’s more visible. Also, in the ship-battle scene, they got rid of the “The Medallion Calls” music. Disney also fixed up the lighting and some audio bits.

Dead Men Tell No Tales!
Disney make is a Goonie Movie ride it will be cooler and less scarey for some people. to dark of a ride.
Way too bright but its your camera
Great ride, bad / boring soundtrack
