My prom suit in high school was 200. Rick offering $450 for an authentic good condition pair for Soviet jackets is pure robbery
It really isn’t, these uniforms aren’t all too rare. The only time you are talking more big bucks is if you know who owned them but even then that sometimes doesn’t change much. I could buy two coats exactly like this for about 200$ each.

but you need to find a buyer first!
I don’t even collect this crap and I would’ve given him $1k for them. Those are some seriously cool historical pieces.
General Ourumov i refuse to pay less than $1k, and that’s my final offer!
Sandier Ramirez Yes. Especially considering they are KGB.
Look at the other pieces like this on the market, they're not worth 1000, even together, if the owner cant be identified that is.
@Sandier Ramirez I collect this type of stuff and that uniform is not worth more than $1000 (for one) since they are not actually kgb uniforms but normal army general uniforms, but if they were marshals of the branch they would be around $1000-$2000 depending on branch and time period, and if you are lucky enough to find one of these uniforms online somehow then a marshal of the Soviet Union uniform I would pay $10k for
and that's because you're just some guy on the internet instead of someone running a business.
This Rick guy could probably get offered 8 gold bars and he'll probably say look I'll give ya 2000 for them

I actually like this comment, because it’s not like the other comments that gives a price of 1$ and something else. 200k is still reasonable for a pawn shop tbh
@@kareemapbio7332 Well yeah he's gotta launder it, he can't just put 1 million in the bank.
Colton Blumhagen yea you can, but the FDIC only covers $250,000 so it would be foolish to leave more than that in the bank haha Multiple banks and a million dollars isn’t questioned as long as their is legitimate paperwork and income etc

My boy literally said “no let’s do 1000” after rick offering 800,000 🤦🏽♂️
lol cory was joking.
A lot of Soviet personnel sold their dress uniforms after the collapse of the USSR since they needed money for the new economy and there wasn't really a use for them anymore either.
I remember my uncle who lives in switzerland when he visited moscow for the first time in 1985, long before Soviet Union collapse in 1991. He went to a 5 star hotel and every thing looked grayish because color was consider capitalist and hence it was forbidden. Also, the sons(civilians) of the soviet union generals offered him up to $300 USD for his pair of used Levis jeans...They had an obsession with american brands because it was strictly forbidden to commercialize them inside Soviet Union countries.
Big Hoss: "Hey Pop, I give you 20 yrs left to live"

"Its amazing to think that this uniform belonted to one of the bad guys"
Nice and classy as always
Imagine being a decorated communist general only to have lower price than a shirt that only says "Supreme"
First, those Uniforms Are Still Produced, both in the Russian Federation, and Exact Copies in China, Second if you were a Army depot Worker, you could get those in thousands packed in boxes each day, so to steal one was not such a big deal, specially the smallest or Bigger Sizes that did not fit nearly anyone, in fact those were still left in great numbers with any shipment i suppose. Third, yes the Medals matters, but not the Small Ribbons that can be and are Faked in China and all over the World, so you could get such ribbons 1€ a piece, all that matters, are the Medals themselves. Also do not take something for real or true, like this for example without having any History of the Actual Uniform. And by the way, you can find such COMPLETE Uniforms, 100% Original in Germany for example, with the cost of 3-400€ at the best....
Nice, nobody asked for a fan lesson

the soviet people were just as scared of a unjustified us agression as the american population was afraid of soviet agression
