  • Started taking down trees at Bear Ridge wooded lot with my Branson 2515h compact tractor and Everything Attachments Wicked root grapple to make a driveway. Didn't go quite as I'd hoped, but I'm still learning; always learning..

      Yeah. Not my greatest moment. A fool determined to make the tool he had do something it wasn't designed to do. Fortunately, that knocked some sense into me. I have the right tool for the job now. Thanks for watching and commenting. 💪 😄

    Your tractor did good for its size. Thats some beautiful property Ted.

      Thanks Paul. I need to watch what you did with the trailer hitch / boom you made for your tractor. I wish I had your welding skills. Once I have 240 power in my shop I'll finally get my stock welder hooked up and some metal work going. It's been years since I've done any welding, so will have to go thru that learning curve again.

    I have absolutely no need for a tractor, but continue to want one when I see you using yours. Looks like fun.

    Hello from Sweden! Just wondering how fast the tractor is when you have to go from one place to another? Allso what kind of attatchment is that, is it a standard skid steer attatchment?

      Hi there from Sweden. Thanks so much for letting me know what part of the world you're watching from. Sweden is on my bucket list to visit. So beautiful.
      To answer your questions: tractor gets up to about 15mph on a level I believe, and has 3 gear ratios to accommodate your need for power or speed. And the attachment is universal skid steer attachable. It's a 54" Single Lid Wicked Root Grapple by Everything Attachments. See my website resources page for more details on this and everything I share in my videos. ( twc-projects.net/resources ). It will be under "G" for grapple.
      Thanks for your comments and for watching. Hope you are subscribed. If you want to reach me directly, you can connect with me from my website Contact page. Thanks again. Ted

    Looks like a beautiful area! I bet a stump attachment would do a good job for you, not sure if it's available for your loader, or just on a skid-steer.

      Thanks Dach. I've got a stump bucket that I will try, but not expecting more. Here's one of the videos I made of using the Titan stump bucket -- ruclips.net/video/4XyyzR5AJ0Y/видео.html

      Unfortunately my tractor doesn't weigh nearly enough to use those. Even just using the grapple makes the backend of the tractor come right off the ground when I try to pull at a stump. Tractor is only 4K lbs. Need a 12-20K skidsteer or excavator to do the job.

    Any problem with your Branson not wanting to climb hills in mid-range? I just bought a brand new 30-15h has less than 10 hours on it and if I try to go up a hill it basically stalls out. No load no PTO on.

      @twc-projects  Год назад +3

      Yes. There are times I do find myself having to go into low range on inclines, especially with a load in the bucket. High range is only good for flat or declining surface. Any incline at all and high range is useless. Some times I just manually push the throttle up when on an incline in mid range and that helps. For me though, having a heavier tractor is worth the trade-off to have better stabilization when using my loader, which is 90% of my needs. Hope this helps. Thanks for your question and for watching.

    👍🏽 what third function value brand did you get or recommend?

    • @twc-projects
      @twc-projects  Год назад +1

      3rd function controller is by "WR Long". My Branson dealer talks about it more in this full walk-around video when I bought my tractor ( ruclips.net/video/fXrQdq0jZHE/видео.html ); I think somewhere around 8min into the video. And here's my playlist of lots videos on my tractor, if you're interested ( ruclips.net/p/PL8T-iSUAEa2QWRRPtDuLHEtsVFH-vzFXS )
      Hope this helps. Thanks for watching and please subscribe if you haven't already.
