Uncharted 2 and 4 won GotY awards. Uncharted 4 is the top-selling Playstation title of all time. If that's underrated, give me more of it!
Richard Linter uncharted 4 isn’t the top selling PlayStation title of all time + it did win some awards but it didn’t win the goty , overwatch did ... and on the PlayStation.com game of the decade fan voting it was number 9 overall so yeah it’s mad underrated.

@@emar_mora : There are lots of GOTY awards. Uncharted 4 did indeed win GotY, just not the DICE Game of the Year which you are probably thinking of. Details below, but at the time of writing I was thinking of what the Mighty Jingles said: "This game has won multiple Game of the Year awards, and is THE best selling Playstation 4 title ever."

I've researched some details. The year of its release (2016) U4 did win for example the Lazygamer Awards (see www.criticalhit.net/gaming/lazygamer-awards-2016-game-year/ ). The most significant was probably the the BAFTA "Best Game" award, roughly the British equivalent of DICE GOTY.
Because U4 was officially published about half way through 2016 it was also eligible for awards in the following year (2017). Thus U4 collected the 2017 NeoGAF GOTY and the New York Game Critic's circle GOTY award, for example, but most importantly the SXSW GOTY award for that year.

Seeing Nate's story from beginning to end does a bring a tear to my eye. After replaying the entire series again I have a deeper appreciation for the story they crafted.

The only thing creepy about them ks their setting. If it werent for the nazi ship they wouldnt be scaryz else the guardians and djinn would be scary too. (But goddamn I almost ptsd from the djinn, they tough as all hell and i played on normal :/)

I love the Uncharted Series a lot and Nathan Drake is one of my favorite characters from that series...
It brings so many good things to it, and it's really well made...
I also love the relationship between Nathan and Elena, Sully is also a great character, and Sam was a good brother to Nathan...
Highly recommend this series if you haven't played it, and I still need to get Uncharted Golden Abyss for my collection, and gonna play it soon...

@@ccvtzvdv But the game does go with the Naughty Dog's Uncharted story, just because it isn't made by naughty dog that doesn't mean it isn't good. For example, Naughty Dog let a company called ReadyAtDawn to make a semi-prequel for the Jak and Daxter Series called "Daxter" for the J&D story and it was canon (unlike the time they let a company named High Impact Games to make a non-canon trashy Jak and Daxter game called "Jak and Daxter: The Lost Frontier")
So I'm sure that Golden Abyss is canon to The Uncharted Story as to Daxter being canon to J&D series.
Edit: I recommended you guy to try the Jak and Daxter Series, that game was ahead of it's time especially the first one which was made in 2001(Its one of the first open world. Collect-A-Thon 3D platformer games without a single loading screens between levels).
Btw the first game is called Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy.( also the other Jak games have a defferent kind of gameplay than the first and a shift on the atmosphere).

uncharted is my favorite game series EVER. and that is saying a lot since I've played a lot of games in my time. it all started in 2018 when i played uncharted 4 for the first time and beat it in a month on normal. fast forward to when PlayStation released the Nathan Drake collection aka uncharted 1, 2, and 3. I decided to beat all the games thinking there were only the 4 (I was wrong). i beat the 1st and 2nd games in 3 days and decided to beat the whole series again in a week. (this was during quarantine so i had a lot of spare time on my hands). i ended up beating the core 4 games on hard in 6 days. then i found out that there were MORE games. so about a week later, i purchased Lost Legacy and beat it on hard in 2 days (still have yet to purchase golden abyss). i quickly became an uncharted fan and searched for all the information i could find on this series, which led me to this timeline. thanks for the intel :) (also, Uncharted: Drake's Deception is my favorite game in the series.)

Honestly golden abyss was a pretty underrated game. Solid graphics, gameplay and characters. Dante makes a great villain.

Uncharted 2, without a doubt. Nathan drake doesn’t have a big nose, good plot, skins were good (dragan was my fav), the guns were fun and all felt different in some way also you didn’t just have a load of reskinned guns in the weapons select ( Uncharted 3) it had the most satisfying ending its heroes were likeable, if at times not the best people, the villain was easy to hate and the puzzles were difficult enough that they were fun but not so difficult they were hair-pulling (unlike Uncharted 3) also it felt more like a world adventure rather than just one or 2 environments like 1 and 3. All in all, pretty good, 9.6/10. Points deducted for Nathan dropping down ledges when I’m trying to sneak.

Rainer Zufall Yes but for me they either felt too open and on my first play through I got lost in a lot of areas but other areas were too linear, I also found area too difficult to find small areas as they’re weren’t many contrasts

Love this game. Character development and voicing throughout the whole series is phenomenal. Now I'm tempted to go play this series before the year is over.

They could totally introduce Uncharted to next gen if they wanted to. Sully could get his spinoff to see how he was in his younger years leading up to him meeting Nate for the first time. It would be badass and a more self contained story.
It would be a game on an epic scale that pays homage to one of the most beloved Uncharted characters. Long overdue imo.

Thinking about these games is amazing. Made my childhood better and still give me joy to this day. Naughty dog did an amazing job and truly I don’t think any game can ever top this series. I wish we could go back when games were this good. Not just some games, but all of them. Truly a masterpiece and a series that will always be replayable and enjoyable. 10/10

True, but I can see how some people could be confused if they only played 4, which A LOT of people did. This video doesnt even have the full timeline either, they missed the official novel "The Fourth Labyrinth", which takes place between Golden Abyss and Eye of Indra. It's like fuckin 400 pages too so it's a big adventure in Nates life.
I just wanna know where Sam was during Nate's time in Brazil.

Uncharted 3 was my childhood. The 2 player multilayer, (Not online, but split screen) was so much fun. I remember this one game mode that you had to cary this artifact. I would cover my friend when he would get the artifact to the safe point. Also there was abother one but I don't remember it as much.
Also the story of the 3rd one was one of the best in my opinion.

I grew up with naughty dog games, and Uncharted is one of my favorite franchises, It is full of memorable vistas, characters, action pieces, I hope to see another adventure maybe with other character but maintaining the same charm, great ending for one of the best action adventure games out there.

@@zayaanatif4474 Originally, sam was supposed to be a villain. He was supposed to be bitter at nathan because he "left him" during the prison escape. They even have a whole other script, voice actor, and even recordings for the original sam. But the idea was scrapped and therefore, rafe and nadine then come to existence.

I just started and platinumed the 4 main games in almost 2 weeks! Great series!
Treasure hunting and puzzle solving theme are already used for so many times in video games, but what I really love about Uncharted series are the dialogue (and monologue), interaction and emotional relationship between the characters. The relationship is not a tear-jerking like on Last of Us, but it was fun, hilarious, but intimate in it's own way, even with side characters such as Chloe or Tenzin (please give Tenzin a spinoff).
All the Uncharted games are my favorite greatness from Small Beginnings

This is THE best game in playstation history! I've played these games so many times that I can't even give you a number. I've platinum trophied ALL of them including the vita one.. the music will always be stuck in my head and take me back when I hear it. The movie was amazing too! This series NEVER let me down!

The first 3 are incredibly special to me. The 1st game and 2nd game always take me back to 2nd and 3rd grade where I’d play the campaigns over and over again. The 3rd grade always takes me back to when I was 12 years old finally passing that game. It’s crazy how special these games are to me. I like the 4th one but if I’m being honest it’s more of a really good fanfiction of an uncharted game rather than an uncharted game if that makes any sense
That’s an interesting take. I disagree and think the 4th is the best by far, but I love the appreciation for the first three. Sometimes I feel they get forgotten after 4.

lowkey...i always felt like there should be another one called “Uncharted 5 The Thieves Return” or “Uncharted 5 Once a Thief Always a Thief” where Cassie is an adult so that way she’s actually able to join them on the journey...and they look for...idk....uhh the lost city of Atlantis or sum like that

@@orgasmatron4296 : Yes, exactly. Assuming reasonable ages for Nate (in the convent) and Cassie, working from known dates puts the epilogue around 2028.
@@richardlinter4111 then even further back assuming nates daughter is probally 15 or 16 in the epilogue, she wouldn't be a main character untill she is probally around 25 or something
I just complete the series yesterday, so glad i took the time to complete it. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. Like RDR2.

I have many fond memories of uncharted golden abyss. Back when I got a psvita at the age of 11 or 12, I played golden abyss countless times. Great game!
It truly is amazing
I have finished uncharted 3 so many Times and I am stil playing it all over again
