    Shinkansen is not only fast but safety and high quality.
    In the history of the Shinkansen over 50 years,
    there have never been accidents such as passenger deaths caused by failure on the operation, except suside.

    People compete for speed only, but the great thing about Japanese railway technology is that it is quiet and fast.
    It does not vibrate the vehicle even when driving at a tremendous speed. The rooms are very comfortable.
    There are no noise complaints from residents along the railway line.
    I think an incredible miracle will occur if the Japanese Shinkansen ignores noise and comfort and pursues only speed!

    TGV POS train by 575 km/h is also great fast train! French railways have with excellent airwys AirFrance even the fastest trains in Europe! That's why I like France so much!

    • @両角-k4q
      @両角-k4q 5 лет назад

      What is the essence of railways? Running fast, running on time, or transportation density. All of them are only half accurate. If it's not comfortable and safe, none of it makes sense. High-speed rail is "a system as a whole, including infrastructure built specifically, specially designed vehicles, operations, noise, vibration, piston effect, Maintenance, management, service, etc." Above all, it must be safe, Must be accurate in time. Therefore, even if there is a performance of 450km/h on the Shinkansen in Japan, it will only operate at 360km/h. Always save 20%.
      If JR is proven to be able to drive safely at 500km/h, JR will drive at 400km/h.
      The superconducting Maghreb can travel more than 700km/h, but it drives at 500km/h considering the piston effect at the time of tunnel entry.

    If i sort TGV and maglev trains (first and second in this ranking) by criteria (price, speed, energy consumption, maintenance and safety):
    *For the price* , it is incomparable: The price of the TGV is expensive while the magnetic levitation train is expensive to maintain.
    *For speed* , the maglev has a top speed greather of 29 km / h!
    *For safety* , the TGV and the maglev are incomparable: the TGV bogies make the TGVs are the safest rail trains in the world. While the maglev is less resilient to disasters, the rails must be repaired after disasters.
    *For maintenance* , this is once again incomparable: the French have a TGV train capable of scanning the state of rails and micrometer installations at a speed of 300.
    *The most ecological* train (in energy consumption) will be the future TGV of 2020 (more ecological of 25% !!!). The TGV has a considerable ecological advantage: when it brakes, it recovers the electricity from the movement of the train.
    If I'm wrong tell me please :(

      Your speed is incorrect, as it does not account for operational speed. The Maglev accelerates and brakes many levels above conventional trains, allowing it to reach higher speeds while operating, whereas the TGV is limited by physics.
      Therefore: the maglev isn't only 29km/hr faster, it is actually 131km/hr faster (431 top operational speed vs 300 top operational speed)

      Yes! 安全 No.1! As we all know, China had 1 big accident back to 2011, when develop the first few generations of CHR models. After the tragedy, the operational speed get adjusted from 350km/h back to 300km/h and stick to the figure for so many years. Only recently get back to 350 km/h with 2 brand new models. It turns out that when you get 480km/h in laboratory doesn't means you can operate at that speed at all. Both the operational cost and the safety precautions must be seriously taken into account.
      By the way, the latest experimental model CIT500, hit 605km/h on test stand, but nobody in China cares. People definitely cares more about Kobe Steel scandal.

      Paris qian sen うん、そうだね。でも神戸製鋼の問題があっても大きな事故が起きてないってすごいんじゃない?中国の高速鉄道の事故原因は知らないけど、事故車両を生存者の確認さえせずに埋めるような非常識な国が安全第一掲げてると思えないし、その事故の対策として50km制限速度落としても変わらない気がするのだが?

    • @parisqs
      @parisqs 6 лет назад +3

      Hi 立ちマット, I don't read 假名, I am not exactly sure if I understand you correctly.
      The impact of Wenzhou accident is huge: 1st of all, the officers in charge are all punished, even the minister of rail is put behind bars. 2nd, the entire SOP get upgraded and reinforced. 3nd the development objective is switched from speed-first to safety first. 4th, all key components are now made in China. As result, there is no major accident since then, meanwhile China operate more High-speed train everyday than the rest of world combined and 高铁(high-speed rail) becomes 1st choice for domestic travel by Chinese people.
      I am not exact sure what is the impact caused by Kobe Steel scandal, hence I will not make any comments on that. What I do know is there are MANY scandals leaked lately. 东丽Toray,三菱Mitsubishi,日产Nissan,东芝Toshiba,铃木Suzuki,日立Hitachi all get involved. I do understand why we perceive "Made in Japan" differently, just check how UK media and Japan media cover GWR differently: www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-bristol-41633356 vs www.japantimes.co.jp/news/2017/06/14/business/britains-queen-elizabeth-ii-enjoys-test-ride-hitachi-made-high-speed-train-london/
      If you never get rid of this head-in-the-sand mentality of denial, you won't solve any problem. Only if you blame your 支配阶级class of rule(in China it's CCP, in Japan it's the 财団シンジケート) like how we blame CCP, they can start to improve themselves. Otherwise we can only fool ourselves. When Wenzhou scandal occurs, everyone no matter who is party member or not, blame the 铁道部Ministry of Railways for doing things too careless. The entire society question them for the root cause and improvement plan. That's how we can fix it.

      How would you like to travel from Central London to Central Paris by hopping on a train, and with no effort? That train travels at over 300 Kilometres per hour on stretches. You can watch cars appear to go backwards on the motorways. And that service has been available for over 20 years. You arrive in the centre of town, refreshed, with no driving stress. It's good that you like driving, because you have little real choice.
