Good point kritesh! Actually IITs/NITs accept the cg of 6 and 6.5 from all ugc approved colleges/universities. If the university is providing percentage the conversion formula is available in all registrar offices.

@Richa Sarmah yeah, i got iit pkd, and there's no problem due to year gap in majority of company, though few companies will have these criteria but still we have ample opportunity and a great platform to learn and show 🙂

Sir I have 81% in 10th , 51% in 12th(here is where my concern lies ) and after that I have done a diploma in comps with 90% and a currently pursuing BE in comps with 9 CGPA average until Final year and I am looking to crack Gate exam and join MTech in IIT's after 2/3 yes of exp in IT! So if I Manage to crack Gate and join any IIT will my HSC still hurt me even After passing it out more than a Decade ago??

Sir if someone got 94℅ percent in 10th boards but 83.6℅ and 74.8℅ in 11th class and 12th boards. But if he go to top iit and done decent cgpa. Will his salary gets affected (if he want a job) due to lower marks in 12th. else is decent (cgpa of college, 10th boards)

Aisa log bilkul bolte hai, and usse low feel karneka koi matlab nahi banta. Accept that you are not as smart as B-Tech people in IITs and you will have no problems. stay humble with respect to knowledge. and never strive for someones validation of calling you smart. Next time someone tells you that. Agree karke agey chalo!

I think you will. Only thing stopping you is the placement criteria but do know that you can always Approch the interviewers through Linkedin.

This is quite rare, since if companies want to offer such positions those are offered to B-Tech candidates. But exceptions can always be there
