Branch matters, no matter if thats from IIT IISC or a tier 3 college, this a very clickbait title. But the information you share will be helpful for those who wants to pursue mtech in lesser known or new branch

Indians in the US live 10 in an apartment that is suppose to house 2 people, so they save a lot of money and purchase parity is not as wide as people think it is. That said, I agree that media falsely hypes the packages that IIT graduates are offered

Bhai unki branch dekh, cse ece walo ke sath aisa nahi ho skta, and inki video dekho jisme btaya h why he was unplaced. TLDR is that he became very irresponsible, didn't even registered for placements, didn't know a single programming language. This is why he was not placed. IIT can't spoon feed you. It can only give opportunities .

Agar opportunity mile toh licensor company like shell uop lummus Ka interview crack karna. They pay around 6 to 7 lpa.

If you are from Core instrumentation, you can go for Trichy! Both colleges are comparable
Go for Trichy... It's fab with respect to Placement and packages..Better than Guwahati , Hyderabad, BHU , ISM etc... Addition to that, In case of Percentage of placements, Guwahati doesn't take a stand infront of Trichy.. Specially for M.tech..
