I am fully aware of the risks of working with resin products and aim to give you great tutorials in a safe way. I film in a very ventilated area and keep risks to myself low. I would always recommend you to wear full PPE based on the data sheets for the chemicals you are using 😊😊😊.

If you light a candle and hold the film over the flame it will shrink much quicker and give you the same effect. You can also use alcohol markers and color the film before you melt it. I have only added different colored stripes or squiggles to the film, never colored it solid. It's definitely lots of fun!
You could never bore us I can't thank you enough for all your hard work making and sharing your videos
Thank you 😊
Believe me, you are NEVER boring!!
Daniel, you NEVER bore me. I learn so much from you. Thank you for sharing your ideas, your experiments, your expertise and your humor.
Well Daniel, now I can't decide which of these 3 videos I like the most!! Honestly I like them all!! Thank you!!! 😩😂 Sabina
Thanks Sabina 😊 I'm preferring the vinyl at the moment 😊
Daniel I really appreciate you trying different products to try and achieve similar results. ❤ Always an enjoyable experience, they turned out great❤
Thanks Maddie 😊 Not as colorful as I hoped but it's a great start 😊😊
What a great video! Great idea using the heat gun to force ripples into the material. Looks so much cooler than the hand crinkling effect. And yay! Cheap holo film!
Thank you 😊 Just have to be careful not to melt it 😂
Never ever bored! ☺️💕💕💕💕
I use "easter" grass alot. If you cut it super small it makes a beautiful opal effect.
Awesome, thank you 😊
They turn out so nice! I like the 2nd heart!
Thanks Dolli 😊 🫂
You are never boring! Thanks for testing all this out and sharing your results!
Thanks Linda 😊
WOW! I absolutely love these! I may check out the Dollar Store to see if they carry this floral wrap! THANK YOU DANIEL 💥😊💥😊💥. You never bore me!
Thanks Deb, good thinking 😊 Could probably find this much cheaper than Amazon 😊😊
You will never bore us. Thank you so much for sharing all that you share with us. Awesome video. Thank you again.
Thanks Angel 😊😊
LOVE iridescent film! Those "stringy things" are called shreds. 😁 Hey, if you're worried about the thinness, can you double it, then heat it, maybe?
Oooh, WOW, pretty effects, Dan! There are tons of colors! I honestly like ALL the materials you used, and would happily use any of them! Thanks again, Dan, for a great demo! Three days in a row is GREAT, and I am NEVER bored with your videos. 👍🤗💕
Thank you 😊 I often go brain dead when trying to explain things whilst filming 😂
You come up with some of the most amazing techniques!
Thanks Trish 😊
Never a bore! It's great to have different ways to do something, especially if there is a cheaper way!
Great tip about the soldering mat!
Thanks! 👍😊😊
Wow love how they all turned out! 😍 thank you for doing all the hard work for all of us! Your experimentation is always appreciated. 💙
Thank you! 😊
What fun!
Far from boring this is exciting!!!! some folks do the same ole videos over and over that is boring!!!!
love all that you do!!!!!
Thank you 😊 I was just worried as has been 3 days of similar vids 😂
That’s AWESOME!! I have tons of that laying around Thank you for all your experiments
Nothing boring about your videos!! 🫶🏼 Thanks!!
Thank you so much 😊
_"It took me playing around with different hand motions..."_
Aaaaand he's back! 😂
Lovely result, Daniel. 💚
😂😂😂😂 I missed that one! 😂😂🤣🤣
These look gorgeous as did the ones you did yesterday. I’m glad you tried the cheaper version as I bought some, not as much as you though. But I haven’t tried it yet, but I will try it out soon now I’ve seen you use a cheaper one. Thanks for sharing Daniel.
Bellissimi, sembrano effetto Velvet, grande idea! 😍
Thanks Gulma 😊 🫂
You are in no way boring. I love your creativity, and for sharing your methods with us. Thank you so very much!! 🙏🙏
Thank you so much! 😊
These are the best! Please show us other ways to use this magic!
Thanks 😊 I will do soon 😊
After seeing some videos using the fantasy film I went on the hunt for it but it was either out of stock or seriously expensive so I gave up.. soooo happy to see this and know I can get the similar effect for cheap ❤
Thanks 😊 Yes, it's crazy how things are more expensive if labelled for resin or nail art 😂
Silly man, you could never bore us! I ADORE your videos and your experiments, they inspire me to try my own hand at them! Though it makes you quite the bad influence on my poor bank account 😅. These remind me of abalone shells and turned out absolutely gorgeous! I will sefinitely have to purchase some of this iridescent film for myself and finally give my heat gun some proper use!
Thank you 😊 And sorry 🙈😂
Wow. I love this and I'm sure the patient's families are going to love it. Greetings from Chattanooga Tennessee USA
This technique is a gamechanger you can mix some cellophane flakes of this kind of film they sell at the dollar store in little pots in the art section. I layer these different color flakes on the surface of the iridescent film and it works amazingly .
Loving all the different colours thanks for sharing x
Thanks Nicky 😊 Very welcome 😊
Not at all bored. Thank you for the great ideas.
Thanks Laurie 😊 🫂
You're NEVER boring by the way! I did a photocopy of my cabochon mold, its really easy now to get right sizes for film etc xxx
Thank you, what a brilliant idea! I may try this! Thanks 😊
Those all look really amazing! You are never boring! I always find everything you do very interesting. I always look forward to what's next!
Thanks Lisa 😊
Never a bore. Thank you for showing alternatives.
Dude, you are not boring! You are hilarious… I adore your Tik Tok vids lol….
Thank you 😊 🫂
Little windows dichroic film is very reasonable and works great with this technique 😊
Good to know! Thank you 😊
Fab Daniel 🤩
Thanks 😊
Stunning ❤
You are fab and I prefer these ones xx
Thank you 😊
Amazing great help. Love watching you experiment with different materials x
Thanks Sharon 😊
This is awesome! Thank you so much for this video! As I said on FB, you are my Resin Rock Star!
Awesome! Thank you! 😊
Thank you for your ingenuity and your eternally happy videos Daniel. I look forward to them every day.
I appreciate that, thank you 😊
I love all your alternatives and all your determination in all your videos
Thanks Kim 😊 It's good to have options 😊
This video is my favourite so far, the texture and colors are amazing, i love purples with pinks and greens or blue, and they do make great pendents, ive tryed to get this but have been unable to get the proper AB film.the pendents are stunning.
Not boring at all!
Thanks 😊
So nice! Thank’s for sharing!🤗👏🏻👍🌹
Thanks Gina 😊
I have learnt so much from you. Am about to sell some of my pieces and am working in conjunction with a fandom shop online. All down to your tutorials!
Yay, congratulations 👏 🥳 🎉 🎊
Thank you Daniel. I never get bored with your experiments. A lot is learned from them.
Thank you Irene 😊
Hi Daniel great video, love how they turned out 😍, i tried this on Monday with just some film i had for wrapping, i got some good results too, video will be up tomorrow , thanks for sharing ❤ xx
Yay, well done 😊😊 Glad you experimented 😊😊
Try checking out your local dollar store. I got a large roll for $1.25. Thank you so much for this video inspired me to go buy some. you’re a master at this.
I've been spending loads on buying diochroic film. This is a game changer!!!
Yay, glad it helps Laura 😊
Daniel!! I saw this somewhere else and ended up using something similar- BUT I was so worried it wouldn’t work the same- this video was awesome!made a set of coasters and a GORGEOUS tray!! Thank you for all the tips and great ideas!
Yay, so glad it worked for you Rebekah 😊😊😊
Молодец 👍
😮 wow, best ones yet ❤
Thanks Pat 😊
Great news!! Love these colors
Thank you 😊
Stunning 😍
Thank you! 😊
Your videos are NEVER boring! Love this technique and thank you for trying different alternatives.
Thank you 😊
Omg I swear I started doing the same thing awhile back with what looks like the exact same paper you have I got it from Amazon one has like a pink issue in it when you hold it up and one has a purple I used alcohol inks to color mine and make stamping patterns as well this is so great and such a game changer LOL like you say. ❤ It!!!!
These are incredible . Love your experiments xx
Thank you Michelle 😊
Wow! Not boring at all! ❤ them.
Thanks Sue 😊
That’s so weird that you did this today as I was wondering if this would work. Thank you for experimenting on this.
You’re welcome 😊
They turned out beautiful, just like your previous ones, just cheaper, can’t beat that!
Thanks Donna 😊
Thanks for another great experiment. I’m so happy you tried all these alternatives because I was so shocked at the price of the Angelina film when I looked a couple of years ago (for something else) & like you said it’s out of stock all the time. I have a similar “table cloth” 🤷🏼♀️ I bought instead of the Angelina film and it worked for what I wanted at the time but it’s mahoussive so a ton left -might give this a try. Your videos are always an interesting and inspirational adventure. I don’t think I’ll ever tire of them.
I have a suggestion. Lay it on bubble wrap and then put the heat to it. You'll love the results, I promise
I use blue/ white tack on each corner. Start from high up & bring down slowly bit by bit.. A-m-a-z-i-n-g results 🤩🤩
It's so beautiful! I made a video this afternoon with the same cellophane wrap! I've also got bubbles and resin flowing underneath.... If you do a white background, the colors are those of the cellophane sheet, with a black background you get other colors! It's really cool! But it's really tricky to work with! 😉
Awesome, thanks Dorianne, I will definitely try with other colors soon 😊 Thank you 😊
I have a ton of the stringy cellophane, used it in a space hula costume, lol, but couldn’t throw it way!
I will find a use for it, not sure what for, maybe trying gifts up with the miles of film I now have 😂😂😂
beautiful - your never boring lol
Dan, thank you for sharing this with us all. I find your videos enthralling not boring. ❤
Thank you 😊 Very welcome 😊
❤ these. Stunning. This is the stuff I was talking about that I bought in numerous rolls and colors. Now I have to figure out which closet I stuck it in. Great ideas. ❤ the video.
Thank you 😊 Oops, hope you find it 😂
@@daniel..cooper it’s in one of 3 closets. Eventually I’ll find them. Grins
Beautiful results 👌👌✨️🤩
Thank you 😊
Beautiful, thank you Daniel .
Awesome, Daniel! Thank you so much!
After watching your video with the vinyl, I had to try using my cellophane. I tried out different colors and heated some together. They made really cool colors. I backed some with white and where it went under the cellophane it made neat effects. Love all your videos 😍
Yay, congrats 👏 😊😊😊
If you did bore us, we wouldn't be here? I like the effect this film had. Very pretty.
Thanks Anita 😊
That heart 💖👌🫶😉 akd that last piece amazing. I've got the original film I don't rate it as all that yes you get different colours but it's a fiddle and patience and a good heat proof area as you need gentle but constant heat 😉👌👍💪
I think they came out lovely. Your experiments are very enlightening. The work you put in is very appreciated. I have always used Angelina. I get sheets and fibers. You have shown some excellent alternatives for the sheets. Thank you.
Thank you 😊 Glad it helped 😊
been using this cheap "film" for years, dollar store, also use the holographic paper bags they have, soak them in water and the paper backing comes off and you have foil, which will not take heat but will handle resin on top.. I then use different colors of inks on the back side instead of black resin, tons of different colors then!
I always love watching your experiments. beautiful outcome, as always. ♥
Thank you 😊
Love the gorgeous colors! Your videos are always a treat Daniel, never boring what so ever. Ty for sharing.
Thanks as always Lee 😊
Thanks So much!! I made the square pendant i posted in the comments on your FB page. I LOOOOVE Your Tutes!!!
Thank you so much for the Super Thanks 😊 I will check you post out 😊😊😊
@@daniel..cooper You're welcome. I just made it today and the two people I showed it to HAD to have the link to this tute. New converts on the way!!!💖💖💖
@@Soifdesang9 thank you 😊 🙏
This is awesome, I absolutely love the way they have all turned out, just gorgeous ❤❤❤
Angelina film is different from cello wrap but, there is still so much you cane do with cello wrap. And you will go through color loss and back again and it can go back to color loss if not careful. I love using this with tack it over and over. Also try wadding it up and pull back out. You can use that way or then heat it up. It’s lots of fun if you use a stick incense to melt holes in it also. Angelina is fun putting holes in too. When I used to do polymer clay work I used both for many projects and loved it most for fairy wings. If you scrunch the cello and then cover a thin piece of resin then put tack it over and over on the piece, let it dry and then put the scrunched cello on it while creating creases where you want then cover with resin you are golden. Angelina just provides more color variety. And the resin does help bring the cello colors back out some.
Thank you for the great tips 😊😊 So much to try 😊
I thank you for experimenting to find a cheaper solution for fantasy film. It's beautiful but outrageous in price. Have you thought about just catching the corners with some tape when heating it? Also I wonder if you crunch it up into a ball in your hand first or both hands..lol....if it would give you more wrinkles to start with? Hope that made sense! Lol Beautiful work. ❤
Thanks 😊 I haven't tried either of those yet but will definitely try soon 😊 Thank you 😊
Beautiful.
Hugs from 🇨🇦
Totally cool 😎 ❤
Thanks Mandi 😊
Hi Daniel . After a few failures I managed what for me is an awesome pendant as follows. 1. poured thin layer of UV into the mould. 2. Placed iridescent cellophane in resin and gently pressed down to remove bubbles. 3. Cured 4. `thin layer of UV made black with mica powder. 5 Cured. 6 Thin layer of UV 7. Repeated step 2. 8 Cured. 9. Final layer of clear UV and final cure. It's like having the drama of the black background on both sides. wee bit more work to do with the cellophane and probably cure the first UV on its own for a better lens effect on that side. Would be very time consuming with 1-1 but in batches I think the results would merit the effort. Thank's again and sorry for the "life history".
Awesome! Well done Greg! I will definitely try this, thanks for sharing 😊😊
Absolutely beautiful
WOW stunning ❤ Thanks for another tutorial using these materials Daniel. No boredom from this watcher 😊 Love your tutorials x
Thanks so much 😊
I love the green/blue colors in this film.
Fantastic effects 😻😻😻
I just found your site and love it!
Welcome aboard! Thank you 😊
Supercool! xx 🎉
Thanks Fran 😊
I really like this effect. I’m going to call on you at Halloween to make my Klingon head piece.
😂😂😂😂 Brilliant!
😹defiantly not board that’s for sure, I love it with the black backing it really made the colours pop🤗🤗🤗🤗i have a huge roll of that stuff bought it 15 years ago for a project that never got done, found it the other day and been wondering what to do with it 😹😹😹50 metres of the suff 😹😹😹🙈🙈
Yay! So glad you have some 😊😊😊😊
🎉Gorgeous 😊
I saw a video once where they layered pieces over each other of the dychronic paper for different color and textures. I bet this cheaper stuff would do that affect also. 🤔
