      @@ersanaskn8659 they are called “blanket” or “sock” molds. Silicone is brushed on then back filled with a more rigid material (fiberglass, plaster, foam). This method is used to conserve the amount of silicone used, which is the most costly part, but takes more time and skill. Otherwise the results are often the same.

    • @DoasIDo1
      @DoasIDo1  Месяц назад +2

      This is the name of a liquid agent for dissolving fatty substances that prevent glue, paint and other compounds from penetrating deep into the material. The less fat on the object, the more tightly the finishing compound will adhere. The following can be used as a degreaser: white spirit, gasoline, acetone, anti-silicone, anti-static and alkali. There are also organic and emulsion compounds. These methods can be used to degrease metal, glass, plastic, wood and leather.

    Hi! How do you choose silicone for different molds? I saw that there were a lot of air bubbles in part 4. Why?

    • @DoasIDo1
      @DoasIDo1  Месяц назад +3

      Hi! I mainly use 2 types of silicone, with a hardness of 10 and 30 units. Bubbles are inevitable, they appear when mixing silicone. To get rid of bubbles, you need a vacuum chamber.

    • @ScottAuch
      @ScottAuch Месяц назад +1

      Selection of silicone viscosity and cure time has a greater impact on bubble entrapment. Start low and slow. Some formulas don’t need vacuum and pressure casting, some do.

      @@DoasIDo1 there is no need for voice as such. Simple text on video is enough.
      But realistically you can use Chatgpt for free to get voice reading your text. For that you need app, it enables voice recognition etc. For now for free it doesn't allow to simply paste text and ask it to read but I found simple trick. Write something like "please copy paste the text - "your text" and after that click on voice recognision and ask can you repeat the task. It will will copy paste all your text again but also will read it for you. So you just need an app on phone to record it.
      There are ways if you are creative and curious enough to find the solution! 😊
