I do not like multiage. Having one EA, a bathroom down the hall, a changing take even further down the hall and there are non verbal
3 year olds with high achieving 5 year olds. I guess it is all about how much support a teacher has.

Love your channel. I’m a nanny to twin toddlers and recently started circle time. How do you laminate/cover your cards? I want to use their household photos for word discovery.
Before I purchased a laminator, I would use packing tape to "laminate" my cards. :)
Hey! Thanks for watching. I have a scotch printer that I purchased on Amazon. It's inexpensive and does a great job. I also use Amazon basic laminating. It's cheaper that buying the scotch brand laminate and works just as good. I will link them here for you ❤️

You are so kind. Thank you! The pocket chart that I, the company doesn't make anymore 😞 The company is called "Really Good Stuff" and they do have some similar ones. I have also seen providers put together smaller pocket charts to create this look.

I love your videos! It gave me so much ideas, but I have a question, how do you deal with the infants constantly eating the toys especially the activities toys since these toys are kinda small, I’ve had this problem for a while and don’t have a good solution.please, I’m looking forward to hearing your suggestions!
Good question! So, any small items that the children shouldn't have goes up and away and brought down only when I am sitting next to them while they explore the item. Depending on the ages of my group, what goes up out of reach and what stays on tables changes. Another suggestion I have is to let your infants have their paci's while they are exploring an activity. You will be able to catch something going into the mouth quicker this way because the paci will have to drop out first. I also recommend anything that infants can safely put in their mouth, let them! This helps with sensory development. I just clean the activity before another child uses it. Hope this helps!

Hey the pocket chart is made by the company Really Good Stuff. They do not make the one I have anymore, but I have seen similar ones.

Thank you, I actually got this years ago from the company Really Good Stuff. The one I use is discontinued, but they do make some other ones that are similar. You could also put a couple of smaller pocket charts together to make this same look.

It depends, I've had years where I've had full time staff working with me and other years that I've only used part time or subs. I currently have a smaller group, so I'm by myself.

Hello, my name is Tarusa. I am a home-based daycare owner. I have mostly toddlers and two preschoolers. I would love some ideas on how to get the toddlers in a place where I can teach preschoolers I don’t have a space to block off and the toys that I have on my shelf, it seems like the toddlers are just pulling them down and not really playing with them. Any suggestions?
Hey, great question. I have found simplifying the toys on the shelf really helps keep the little ones engaged in playing and makes clean up time not as overwhelming. You can rotate the toys out every week or even once a month.

The one that I use is from the company Really Good Stuff, but has been discontinued. I get this question all the time, I really wish they still had this particular one. it is really nice. I have seen some providers put a couple of smaller pocket charts together to create this look.

If you only have this age group, these printables might be a bit young. Its more made for a multi-age group. I use circle time to welcome everyone for the day and close up our day in the afternoon. I have additional activities I do with my 3 year olds.

Two to five minutes? Not age appropriate for the developmental stage. Should be tailored to their abilities and involve active circle time.
