It comes down to personal preference, if you plan to mod the Mustang and want to be faster, 100% get the 10 speed over the manual. However the performance pack 2 is such a cool car, the handling and performance out of the box is great. Hope you decide! Either one is great.

I have a 2020 GT 6MT PP1. I'm in love with my car. I did a H pipe and Roush cat back with Roush CAI and 93 tune. Feels sooooooo good to run through the gears. Yes, the AT is fast AF, but working a clutch and shifting the gears feels like I'm more one with the car.
Get a ported 2018 intake manifold then rematch him. The new stangs from 2018 and up have direct injection plus an A10 is just plain and simple tuff to beat cause the computer keeps the coyote in the power band. Bruh you do that MT 82 justice well done man well done. People must understand new aint always that much better. None the less both really really nice cars, i would rock em both on different days 🏁

With the manual, you get that very brief break between gears, and it's hard to describe exactly why it sounds better, but it's like the engine has that very brief moment to catch a breath in between gears. Even if it's one millionth of a second (or whatever) slower in a straight line, it sounds better and is more fun.
The pause your talking about is loved by all men across the world the mechanical sound of the engine stopping then starting again like a pause in between gun shots is why we love it it's a mechanical marvel that is music to our ears
@@davothegreat9990 dude the stock 10 speed runs high 11 in perfect conditions in drag mode. It isn't hard to get a mt82 car from 11-17 to high 11s in the quarter in perfect air. Light mods and a tire will get you there. The 10 speed isn't unbeatable contrary to popular beleif. It is quicker stock for stock and mod for mod because of the big gearing advantage but at the end of the day it's a high 11 car stock at 118-119 in PERFECT conditions in drag mode. Anything less than perfect conditions you won't see 11s in a stock 10 speeds. They aren't unbeatable and you don't have to have a turbo to beat one. That last sentence was directed at the guy above saying you need a turbo in a non 10 speed car to beat a stock 10r80 lmao. You 10 speed fanboys are something else.
I just bought a 2021 5.0 in all white. And some lady ran into me at a stop sign one week into having her. She gets fixed 11.15.21 but.... Now she'll be a chop shop car after all is done. So sad....

First I have to say that I bleed mustang. My 2018 10sp naturally aspirated ain't letting nobody go around it. Yo say that its quick, is an understatement. As you experienced, when a 2018+ get up on you, you're done. I like your stang, but if there is one thing I can't stand is a ear bleeding loud mustang. Bruh.....your mustang is THDL! The auto just has shorter gear ratio for all that low end torque. Manuals have longer gear ratios for top end torque.
You need a short throw shifter bro and a aftermarket clutch if u don't have one so u don't get gear lockout.
