It’s crazy I was watching this months ago dreaming of owning one, now I own a 2017 gt and already added two mods. 🙏 coming back to this video for more ideas. Life is crazy
I went with a injen intake, res. delete (H-pipe), and hopefully a SCT 93 octane tune (soon)on my 22' GT and I would think I could get maybe 430-450 to the wheels.
Not messing with my stock exhaust, it sounds 1000 times better than any of these "upgrades". Its a MUSTANG, not a cheap japanese import. Why do so many people think that higher pitched, choppy exhaust tone sounds good? It doesnt. I mean, itd be like if a dude took a Harley and made it sound like a crotch rocket. No, stock exhaust gives you that low, BEAST tone that turns heads but doesnt piss people off.
Can we go back to 2:53 in the video where you get Bissch Slapped? Case in point... 2016 Stang, 5.0 GT PP2 Premium (yeah, I know, shut up). My personal recommendations: #1. MBRP Cat Back Race Exhaust (Chrome or Black 4.5 Tips). This will definitely P-Off your neighbors at 6am. #2. Intake: Ford Performance Performance Pack 2 with larger Throttle Body (87mm) and PCM Tune. #3. UPR Passenger and Driver side PCV Oil/Separators (some custom install options required). Won't increase the performance of your engine, but will save your engine for many thousands of miles compared to stock. #5. Wheels n Tires: I recommend front 20"X9" rims with 285/35/20 front tires (Continental Extreme Sport), then Rear 20"X10" rims with 305/35/20 Continental Extreme Sport tires. Launch and traction control without the Mustang traction control ECM. #5. If you don't have one already, front strut-tower brace. You can go as fancy as you want, but save your money and go with a single-bar Mishimoto steel bar. Does the same thing at half the price. Other mods that will increase your HorsePower/Torque (SIC) by 30%: Billet Aluminum Engine dress-up kit, Carbon Fiber Interior Parts, Billet Gas Cap cover (black) and any race emblems you want to install to make your Mustang stand out! Yeah baby! Now you know! P.S... If you want a big-azz wing on your car, get an airplane instead. Geezus.... Oh Schiznitz! Now we have the new 2025 Mustang GTP coming out... What are we to do? Well, don't spend $300K on this car! Modify your current car for less than $40-$50K and have the same, if not better performance. The Mustangs are now becoming the same damn thing as iPhones and new Samsung cell phones with "yearly" upgrades, high cost and not much in offering for technology... Just sayin...
Pmas fender CAI is the best CAI to get. JLT isn’t the best. And staying with the stock intake manifold will get you where you need to be if you’re going to stay N/A.
Can I ask your opinion on something? I was looking into the intake manifolds, is there a reason you didn't mention the voodoo one? I'm between that or the 2018 upgrade, not sure if the voodoo is worth twice the 2018 one, because I see people having error codes with it.
Personally I wouldn’t go with the voodoo bc of the same thing you mentioned with the codes. My top 3 choices are the boss 302, the 18’, or the cobra jet intake. Vmp has a good one too. But bang for your buck definitely the 18’ intake manifold is a W. Keep in mind you still going to need a tune after installation or will run like crap. Appreciate you watching!
@@PushingGears thanks for the response, yeah with the voodoo I couldn't even get a straight answer as to weather the codes came with the addition of the bigger TB or the intake itself. I'd like to avoid limp mode as long as possible. 🤣 I'll prob go with the 18 seeing as I just got a spectre CAI.
If you say under $1000 then most people would want all 5 under 1000… lol. Not each one has to be under 5000. You have like 6500 worth of upgrades here haha.. good headers are kooks/American /corsa. All of them are over 1500, closer to 2000. Rear axle back hood brands are 1800-2500 like you said. Tubes are 750-1000 with e85, cai is 400, intake manifolds are 1000 for ported.
The MBRP race I removed, horrible. Exhaust mods: Long Tube headers, no cats, stock all the way to the bumper. Car still made 768 to the wheels. Catback is just noise and not worth 7-10hp. Save your money, 3 mods will give you 800. Blower or Turbo, fuel system and a tune. Go that route.
I had a 2021 GT Premium with a manual MT82 transmission. Complete garbage! I could put up with the hard plastic interior, engine tick and the glitchy electronics, but the drive train was garbage. Kept the GT for 2 months and unloaded it....was a pile of junk. Bought a real car from another manufacturer with a standard TREMEC couldn't be happier...FU FORD! BTW - if you did buy this POS with a MT82 you can join the class action suit! ruclips.net/video/aUyB7qB0M8g/видео.html

Same 😂 just got mine today
It is crazyy bro
Congratulations bro
Just got me A GT yesterday...1st muscle car❤❤
Welcome to the team 💪🏽
Borla sounds amazing as well, I got mine used with a borla already on. 👌
The steeda axle-back is now $600. I paid $189 for mine at Christmas 3 years ago glad I did. But I do plan to change the exhaust tip to a 4 in.
You got a great deal! 4in That will definitely give it a more aggressive look
Appreciate the video. Definitely looking forward to adding mods to my 2017 gt premium.
Waiting for my 2017 GT to come Saturday. Super excited to add a few things, it was already modded and has a Jente coyote V8 engine in it.
just got a 2022 mustang gt monday. can’t wait to add stuff to it
all those exhaust gets rid of the active exhaust ,so many would like to keep that feature so the cheapest ones start at 1200

Thought stock gt 5.0s had 450
@@seanbeard5650that's to the crank to the wheels you lose a little hp
@seanbeard5650 I had to out exhaust and headers and tune my 2015 mustang gt with 200k miles to make 400hp lol
@@9aws.14you need a tune up budy to make your car performance back at it again and thats gonna be expensive for sure
LMAO I bitch slapped my phone when I saw that dirty ass filter luckily you took care of it 😂😂😂
Would be more useful if the performance change were described with each mod
Dude can you give me the rundown of what you are currently running on your vehicle?
Right now I got a simple set up full Corsa extreme exhaust, Lund racing tune, JLT intake. Probably pushing 460-480hp
Borla is a good shout
Yes sir! When I first got the car it came with borla s-type
Corsa over everything!!!

Yo! Is the MBRP exhaust street legal/friendly? I don’t want cops on my tail. Thx in advance
Im not sure to be honest bro, but it should be on their website depending on the state you in 👍🏼
Buddy jlt makes no power stock box knn filter .why do you think they dyno the jlt with the hood open.
What’s your wing called and where you get it from
Jba has to be one of the worst headers had them before they used to turn cherry red like the stove no no no
Saving this for when I have my gray GT
So we all have our eyes on the same gray 2015 mustang gt 🤣😅
