Ice Shack Recovery: Slushy Lake

- Well it's recovery time already and we have had a ton of snow making this mission improbable at best. Come along as we attempt to recover the ice fishing shack from a not so frozen lake and float it off the snow.

i watched your video dragging it out on the lake. Glad I did as it showed me what complications you can have and now this video you show what you did different to avoid those complications! Surprised it is coming off so early! When we have to remove them, no snow is left on the ice (usually), 8 hours north of winnipeg! We have until April 15th to remove them! Great tips for building my shack, thanks!

We had so much trouble getting it onto the lake that I was very anxious about getting it off considering the snow and ice conditions had deteriorated so much. The metal skis I made for it made ALL the difference in the world. THe old timers in the area were amazed that we got it off as easily as we did. THey're all leaving theirs until the snow melts. Making it look easy I guess. haha. Thanks for watching!

One you don’t wanna use im sure exactly what it’s called but old ones are sketchy to use
