At least they got out before they went down w/the truck. Poor truck, it didn't want to die this way. But if they live there, shouldn't they know if the lake is solid or not. That's why I never went ice fishing with my then father in law on his frozen lake. Great job to the guys that got the truck out.
I live next to a lake that people ice fish on. I told my Wife that if I’d rather be ice fishing instead of home with her… the Marriage was over! 19 years of NO ice fishing.
Well, some guys had great fun…finally all gear came into action. Was this a drill? Why else would you go through so much trouble. The truck is history at the end..right? Oh, I see, it’s a little truck…question: how did it get into the water in the first place, please?
Lots of fluids that aren't good for a lake. Gasoline and oil will start to seep out immediately. Windshield washer fluid has ammonia. Transfer case / differential / transmission will probably stay sealed much longer but still a danger. Battery has sulfuric acid. Or perhaps he left his sunglasses on the dash and wanted them back.
Everybody knows(or should know) not to drive on the ice until after the typical January thaw in the Great Lakes region. While it is safe to walk on at this thickness two more inches is required for vehicle weight. Also the word "narrows" often means faster moving water and therefore thinner ice than elsewhere.
How come there’s no FEMINIST around complaining there’s no women doing this job? LOL 😝 Double Standards and Cherry-picking is all they’re about, never see them on Below Zero Construction 🚧 jobs complaining there’s not enough women.
2010 Ford Ranger For Sale: Totally Clean (Interior may be wet cause it just was polished) *NO FLOOD DAMAGE*
So true I swear
maybe ok if engine wasn't running as it went in a fresh water better than salt
Matt’s Off Road Recovery would be proud.
Awesome recovery!

I've got an '07 Ford Ranger, should I be concerned about it finding an ice lake and taking a swim?
Well, that's one way to keep it stays fresh!
And now the owner have one deep cleaned ford 🤭
Don’t worry, the truck was just scuba driving. Nothing to worry about here
Rangers are amazing little trucks...... wouldnt surprise me if it starts right up
aha, a new car wash !
I bet that thing turns up on some car lot in another state with a clean title.
He tried to ice road trucker in Wisconsin!
Glad to know the people inside did not drown.
You oould not pay me enough money to do this ccoooold job!!
One way to make sure all the road salt is removed.
My grandpa lives in a cabin on that lake
Is the box rusted out?
Should be 2+' of ice there ???
need to add details on how these happen!
Good to see he was prepared
Had snow chains on rear tires
Oh my word - he ok ?
The ice could be 15 ft thick and I not driving on it

If you need a tow call to pros. I liked that foot steering action.
Who's the u- boat commander?? 😳😳😳
Ford Ranger is a submarine. It was trapped in extreme cold weather. It is a best domestic submarine. Super!!!!!

🤔 most likely it wasn't the cars idea to drive in there 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤣🤣
Not your normal video, but very interesting.
Hold my beer while I drive on ice !!!
The cheese goes straight to the brain.
Just your average car wash in NWWI😁
It's just a Ford...not any kind of loss...
For sale. One owner. Well loved.
Looking at the guy with his legs in the driver side window,,, if that truck rolls you’re going with it
Probably not worth a few fish!! They might be walking the next time?? At least was close to shore!
Why not just leave it there until the lake thawed out ? It’s already useless 🤔

That was also my question and I do like the response you got but mostly I just think that boys like to play with their toys and do this kind of stuff.
To protect the lake. The DNR will fine you (heavily) if you left it in the lake.
The state DNR ( at least in Mn) will fine the owner for pollution and it isn’t cheap.
@@cyberstick2 Lol 😂 I was thinking it was some personal items in the car.
It makes me wonder why would anyone be crazy enough to put their vehicle on knowing there may be a chance it could fall through like this one did

Big oops. Might have a problem starting it up right away.
Huh.... wonder if the guys insurance covers acts of stupid?
I would say that truck is a total loss probably
Best place to park a Ford !!!
What's the back story on idiots driving their vehicles on a frozen pond/lake? Putting lives at risk to dig out cars/trucks etc.
Well, he had his chains on anyway.
Should have left it and reported it stolen
my car gets more water in it from a leaky sunroof seal
Oops
that woman doesn't have the sense to just try to jump up on the "uncut ice"?
He is pushing the cut sections under the ice to get them out of the way.
It seems that since everyone got v axxed everyone has lost their minds
and the level of intelligence has dropped dramatically lol
